Arrival Story:
Tank had been a resident of the Wake SPCA for about a month and a half before I adopted him. He had a great disposition but he had a bad rear left leg. Best guess is that he was hit by a car, and didn't get the proper medical care to set the leg back into place. Now, it is shorter than the other back leg and favors it during cold and wet weather. He can still use it but not as much as his other leg. This condition scared people about future medical bills. Since the break was old, fixing it could have done more harm than good but you wouldn't think anything was wrong with him if you met him!

With Tank's bad leg, he likes to sit a lot. He likes to sit just his butt on the edge of the sofa as well as unsuspecting victims who are sitting on the floor. Pictures: Tank and his grandmother (my mother) are both very photogenic! Tank is very concerned about preserving his eyesight so he wears his sunglasses! He loves to chew on his bones. He also likes showing off for the camera and giving a big smile with those lips flopping out when he rolls over. Those floppy lips also drip water everywhere after a drink.
