I tink I mite eben miss dis widdle wascal a widdle bit now dat he'z gone! Dis house seemz awfully kwiet and still wifout him pitter pattering awound and wuking at wayz to get into twouble!

I eben did some play bows wif him in the past couple ob days.

Vet Visit Today.......

I started squinting my left eye and closing it and blinking a lot in the past couple of days. Mom and dad knew that something had to be going on with that eye, so when mom remembered that my vet's office has regular appointments on Sunday afternoons, she called and got me in to see a vet. This nice lady vet stained my eye and took a look, and I have a very superficial corneal ulcer--probably started when I was rooting in the grass and bramble here our our land! That's the fun of my walkies, so I'm not going to stop though! Anyway, the vet looked me over thoroughly and pronounced me fit and healthy from my heart to my knees and hips and said this corneal ulcer was easily fixed and sent mom and dad home with antibiotic salve to put in my eye. For a vet, that lady was really nice!!

Mom and dad hab desided dat dey will gib fossering fur dat Col Podder gwoop anudder twy. Wemember, wen dey fosdered muahhhhhh I made mi gwate xcape and went missing fur 0ber 30 hours be4 dey kot me in dat safe twap.

Enyway, de Col haz had to be turning needy widdle corn terrors wike me away caws dey didn't hab enuff foster homes, and mom and dad cudn't stand that one widdle corn terror would not make it caws dey wudn't twy egin.

Alzo, dey hab been told dat I wike being an only grrrrl. But, we are going to twy diz, and dey will be sure dat I knowz I am de best grllll in de house and dat dey WEALLY wubz me.

T-Bone will be here next Wednesday. He is a former puppy mill boi, a widdle ober 4 yearz old, and he'z a handsum wheaton color cairn boi. Fwom wat momma haz been told he'z sure a sweet boi just wuking for sum twaining and some wub, and we can suppwy dat fur him.

I Caught Anudder Wrat!!

Yesterday abternoon my boss man and me were taking my wawkie and wat did I find? A nice big wrat!! I hustled wight abter dat juicee wuking morsel, and I caught it! I mouthed it for a while, den de boss man made me weave it!

Amazingly enuff, wen de boss man told de boss wady bowt my big catch, she wudn't wet me kiss her, not enywhere! Why????

So, here's hoping dat I find anudder wrat today wen de boss man wawks me, he's off wurk today, so I shud get some nice wong wawks.

All work and no play means no diaries for me!!

My sekretery haz been so buzy at wurk and den wif her wong dwive to/fwom wurk, she'z been pwetty tired in de ebeningz, so do diary entwies here for me!

Not much haz been going on here enyway, oder dan de sekretery went and spent a weekend wif some ob owr dogster pals (and weft me at home becaws she tot I'd be happier here) and she had a wooferful time meeting Smoke, Tess, China Moon, Francis, Boudreaux and their hoomanz.

Den she spent one Saturday in Lake Charles heping to man de Col Potter boof and it waz a bery successful ebent!!

Our wedder is finally feeling wike fall here, in de high 40's in de morning and in de 70's dooing de day, pawfect wawking wedder for me!! I hab been enjoying some long wawks wif my boss man.

I Bisited de Vet Wady on Sadurday.....

and she told my bosses dat I waz pwobabwy de besd behaved and sweetest gurl she'd see all week!

Dey tuk bwood to test for heartworms, fecal sample, cut my toenailz, insurted a micwochip, and it all tuk onwy a cuple ob minites caws I was sucha gud gurl.

Den de vet wady bwot me back to de exam woom and examined me fwom hed to toe. De onwy ting I didn't wike was wen dey tuk piktures ob my toofers, caws the bosses are twying Fragaria Vesca to see if it heps keep tartar down on my toofers, and dat way we all will hab pictures to compare in a couple ob monfs.

She said I cud woose about a pound, dough, I habn't been able to get owtside to exercise wif all dis rain and den all de heat!! So, de bosses are cutting back a widdle on my food, dang!!

All in all, it wazn't a bad bisit to de vet, and I wike dis wady!!

Der just hazn't ben much exsiting going on here wately, pwus de boss maam's waptop was on itz wast wegz and waz weally fwustwating her, so she hazn't updated my diawy wately.
