 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: July 29th 1997
Likes: Walks, and licking the plates, and hanging out in the field, and rides in the minivan. When my people scratch my spots I can't reach.

Pet-Peeves: People who don't want to constantly take me places and do things with me, CHIPMUNKS and lizards and snakes and toads, people who stop me from catching the chipmunks and lizards and snakes and toads. Don't touch my feet.

Favorite Toy: My mom's arm

Favorite Food: Anything my people eat

Favorite Walk: ANYWHERE you want to take me!

Best Tricks: I can hold my own back feet in order to get them close enough to lick them!

Arrival Story: I needed a place to live when my elderly owner's health failed and he had to go in the hospital. If my new people hadn't taken me in, I would've gone to a local kill shelter. They were nervous, I was not - I like this place and adjusted very quickly. They have doggy doors so I can go out in the yard any time I want!

Bio: UPDATE 12/15/2009: Unfortunately, we had to let Roscoe go today, much as we loved him, and we miss him deeply already. The cancer came back, with a vengeance, and he just wasn't strong enough to fight it off this time.
------------------
UPDATE 9/6/2009: I got cancer in April 2009 - thyroid adenocarcinoma. I had surgery so they could try to take out the huge tumor that was making it hard for me to eat or breathe, and I almost died from the surgery. Mom visited me every one of the 10 days that I stayed in the hospital, though, and I decided that I wanted to pull through and come home. They couldn't get the tumor out, so I still have cancer - but I had radiation and chemo (no big deal) and am still alive and kickin' almost 5 months later. Mom's been taking me LOTS more places in the minivan, lately. I think she's worried about losing me.
--------
I almost died a month after I came to my new home, of gastric dilitation and volvulus (bloat, with torsion). I've still got some minor health problems, but they're minor.
I passed obedience school (barely), and am really good at "shake," "sit," and "down." I'm very well behaved, unless there are critters in the yard. When my mom's getting ready to take me for a walk, I love to bite her in the butt.
