Twitter.com/FlowerTheDog Flower loves being with her people, she is their velcro dog. She enjoys nose bonking, camping, car rides, and herding. When it snows she loves running around like crazy and catching snowballs w/ her teeth.

Pet-Peeves:
Knocking, being put outside by herself, staying home alone, squirrels, ducks and outdoor cats.

Favorite Toy:
"Squeaker" tennis balls, Kong's filled with treats, Hide-a-Squirrel, Monkey, Frog, Skunk and Tug-A-Jug from helpingudders.com.

Favorite Food:
Raw bones, Bully Stix, cheese, Greenies, and cat treats.

Favorite Walk:
Flower's favorite walk is anywhere her favorite humans are walking. She loves the beach, the snow, and dog parks.

Best Tricks:
She's learning to pick up random objects on command, which comes in very handy to us (get your leash, get my shoes, get the remote cntrol!). She's really good at picking up on phrases like "Yes, NO, there, here" etc.

Arrival Story:
Flower became a part of our family October of 2003. Liz was browsing through dogs on www.petfinder.org one day and spotted Flower. Her family was moving to Micronesia & didn't want to put her through the stress of a long plane ride. We met Flower and brought her home that same day.

Bio:
Flower's been learning tricks and commands since the first day we brought her home. She attended an obedience class at Petco and graduated on February 24, 2004. She tried rally obedience summer of 2005, and someday hope to help her earn her CGC. Flower's Doggy Dictionary: sit, sit-up, stay, wait, down, shake & other hand, wave & other hand, back, play dead, off, i need it, take it, bring it here, rollover & other way, leave it, bed, lay down, stand, speak, no barking/quiet, heel, right here, enough, dance, sit pretty, "up-up" (jump), go potty (don't tell her i told you), touch, and get your "fill in the blank w/ a toy". She's working very hard on heeling while on leash (without me dragging a piece of hot dog in front of her nose!), and giving our cat some privacy. :D She's also a pro at manuevering her Kong ball all over the house to empty out every last crumb and treat. We love her to pieces and really enjoy all that she's brought into our lives. If you have an ACD-L 2008 desk calendar, Flower is Miss October 22nd. Follow me on Twitter!! twitter.com/FlowerTheDog

Tucker went to his forever home yesterday. We had him with us since September and he was a great dog! He was a bit goofy and his whole body wagged when his tail wagged. It'll seem quiet in our house for a while, but maybe a little less hectic. Hopefully this will free up some extra time for the humans to throw me the ball and frisbee!!! Goodbye and good luck Tucker. You are a swell boy.
