Shelby's Last Day

June 16, 2008 - Shelby woke up this morning sick in her stomach. After she ate her breakfast, she couldn't keep it down. Mommy's cleaned her up and put her in her crate for the day to get some rest while they were at work. On the way to work, mommy's talked about it being time for Shelby to go to Rainbow Bridge. It was a tough decision but after months of watching Shelby take a turn downhill, she was telling mommys that the time had come. Mom's decided to take half a day off not knowing what to expect. When mommy's came home, Shelby had once again taken a time for the worse. Mommy D called the vet and rushed her down for her final destiny. At 5:05 p.m., Shelby took her last breath and ran as fast as she could to Rainbow Bridge where she will play all day and night and wait for her family to join her one day. Rest in peace friend and I will see you again someday. You will forever be in my heart and will never be forgotten. I love you always!
