I have been tagged by my dear friend Mr. Jody...
Hut one..hut two...I got the pigskin handed off to me by my buddy, Spinner. Here are the rules: we are gett'n our "team" together and we're gonna cross that line and make us a touchdown! Before the ref raises his boney little arms to signal the 6 points we gotta spill the beans about ourselves and then pass the ball to 5 of our furiends who will each do the same. Don't forget to leave us a bone to let us know you got our hand signals and you're in the "game.
1. I am a quiet and thoughtful Poodle. I do not act rashly; but think everything through before taking action.
2. I enjoy walking out of doors. My favorite walk in the downtown area, window shopping.
3. I alert my humans when it's time to walk by sitting by the leash drawer. If they are slow, I will round them up and bark in front of my drawer. I can even get the leashes out of the drawer for both Honey and myself.
4. I eat at the table. My manners are impecable.
5. My favorite meal is panini sandwhiches.

Thank you to my buddy Toby who forwarded me this note. (Toby is an actual certified Santa's helper...no kidding)
Dear Santa Claws,
Thank you for what you brought me during the past year...a loving home that I share with my own twin brother Honey Bear, not one but TWO loving doggy mothers and being with our little brother Johnny Thunder too!
You have brought me so many wonderful friends here at Dogster! I can't thank you enough, Santa.
Santa, you seem to know what is best for little Poodles so I leave it in your capable paws...
Dear Cinnamon Bear,
It's Rudolph here, writing to let you know that Santa Paws and his reindeer are really excited about visiting you this year.
The elves and all of us reindeer have been really busy making some new treats and toys just for you. Your mommy told Santa Paws that you really want a new toy. As long as you are a good boy Santa Paws will bring you lots of new toys and treats.
Your mommy told Santa Paws that you have been on your best behaviour. We reindeer know how hard it is to be good. Sometimes we can't help ourselves. Take it from me Santa Paws will forgive you!
I must go now and get ready for our big trip. See you soon Cinnamon Bear.
Love, Santa Paws, Rudolph and the gang

We went to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah! We love it there! There’s lots of doggy fun…course pet doggies don’t do “in” the sanctuary. No, we stay in the air conditioned trailer listening to Cds, eatin’ ice cream and relaxin’! We sends the humans out in the heat! They waits on our pals who are waitin’ to go to their forever homes…paw and tail. The humans walk our little friends, help with feeding, groom them, and scrub the walls.
At Best Friends our pals our trained and prepared for their forever homes. They go on sleep overs with volunteers and outings into town and around the canyon trails. About 80% of the kids…dogs and cats will find their forever homes. Some don’t really care for humans and prefer to live in packs. Other dogs are there by court order for biting. As you know we never get to tell our side of the story. Best Friends is a haven for these kids too. They are not able to be adopted or meet the public but live in packs cared for, loved and adored by the staff.
Our pals receive spay or neuter and medical care. They are fed and watered and given treats. The live in octagon shaped buildings. Inside heating and air conditioning is provided 24/7. Each pup has it’s own little bed to sleep on elevated off the floor and cleaned by the humans. Two doggy doors and a human door lead to the outside where the pups have large, spacious yards to play in. By Los Angeles standards the play runs are equal to two or three urban yards. Each play area has clean and fresh water with lots of shade and wading pools in the summertime. Oh, yes, and toys too.
Cats are loved and cared for in a special kitty cat house. Cats with Feline Leukemia live together, playing with toys and sleeping on little painted beds, chairs and hammocks. All are loved, adored, played with and pampered.
Animals who live out their lives at the sanctuary are buried with dignity in Angel’s Rest. A special prayer is said for each and every one…from the largest horse, dog, cat and even the tiny little goldfish. All are respectfully cared for. A special service is held once a month to commemorate those who have passed and to give their care givers a chance to say a last “good bye”.
Best Friends has a dream…No More Homeless Pets. Every pup and every cat spayed and neutered (a very few responsibly bred) until every pet has a home to call it’s own.

Can you imagine living your life in the nuthouse? Well, that's my reality! Here's the scoop of these crazy characters they call the Fun Loving Five...
Suzy is a 5 year old Boston Terrier. She claims we are lucky to have her as she seems to be some kind of authority on every topic and often takes it upon herself to "explain" life to the rest of us. Funny thing is these "explainations" are usually pretty screwy.
We don't bring this up because Suzy also claims to be our mother...now just looking at us you can see this can't possibly be so. One day Honey actually had the nerve to mention this glaring fact. He was unceremoniously hauled off to the washroom where Suzy proceeded to wash his mouth out with soap until suds were coming out his little ears and then bit his little wooley tail. Needless to say we pretty much go along with Suzy.
Suzy thinks the world revolves around her and that all the world adores her. She has VERY good self esteem!
In reality, Suzy is a one eyed, almost blind rescue that we all love dearly!
Well, can you picture havin' TWO mothers? Both of which claim to be your only and real mother? Okay there's my life! Beatrix is a Boxer/Boston mix rescue. She's 18 months old.
Beatrix plays with us and cuddles with us. We have so many good times with Beatrix. She never gets mad and never loses her cool. When we have tantrums she's able to isolate the naughty dog and cool things down. In reality Beatrix is our mum and pack leader.
Suzy uses Beatrix as a seeing eye dog so even Suzy sees Beatrix as our leader. Beatrix never yells and rants about being our leader, instead she just quietly looks after us and makes our pack run smoothly.
Honey is my twin brother. He's talkative and never shuts up! This guy comments on every falling leaf. He also is the biggest tattle tale that ever lived! When the rest of us are having a great time, pulling up the plants, eating shoes, etc, Tattletail Honey has a special WWWOOOOOWOOOOOO bark to let the humans know that we're up to something!
Honey is my best friend and greatest rival. We compete for everything! We like to growl at each other but we don't really fight and we honestly love each other alot.
Honey and I have only been separated once since we were born and it broke my heart so much my mom went back to get him. Honey is part mischief maker and part monkey but I'm really glad he's around.
Johnny is actually our baby brother. Honey & I have the same father as Johnny and our mothers are cousins. From the first day we met, Johnny and I shared a special bond. I love him like a brother and care for him like a father. Whatever Johnny wants he gets from any of us. He's spoiled rotten. He's the only one that can snatch a nibble from any dish (except Suzy)
Johnny is lots of fun and toddles after me and Honey always wanting to be just like us and wanting in on what we're doing.
So you see, really I'm the only sane one! I love my family and they are lots of fun, but I alone am the voice of reason!
