Arrival Story:
Roxy was dumped at a shelter because she was to old and they wanted another pup. We took Roxy into our rescue and found her a wonderful home. She went in to get spayed and the vet noticed when he checked her lungs that she didn't sound right and did a few other tests. He found that she has Congestive Heart Failure and put her on meds. She doesn't have very long to live and because her new owner has young children she didn't want to take her and have her pass right away. So Roxy is going to stay here at Dirty Paws and live out the rest of her days, which is just fine with me beacuse I have fallen for this little girl and will be happy to spoil her for the time she has left.
