Likes:
Eating any kinds of treats, following Mommy everywhere, playing fetch, going over Grandma and Grandpa's house, and "eliminating" all over the house
Pet-Peeves:
Vacuum cleaner, her crate, getting nails cut, getting combed, when Mommy talks on the phone and doesn't pay attention to her, or when Mommy leaves the house
Favorite Toy:
The Bobo Loofa Toy from Multipet
Favorite Food:
Baby eats wet Evangers and Innova dry. She LOVES Dingo bones!
Favorite Walk:
Walking around in PetSmart and "talking" with the other doggies
Best Tricks:
Giving kisses on demand, Dancing on hind legs, Paw, Sit, Fetch, Down...all this and we still can't go potty in the right spot! :-)
Arrival Story:
I've always wanted a little dog, but I never knew what kind. Then a few years ago I went to New York with my mother and saw a little baby Yorkie in someone's car barking away. When she stuck out her tongue to pant, it was split in half!!! I thought it was cute, but my mother was a little shocked. Well, I was outside looking at the puppy for so long that the owner came back out and saw us admiring her dog. My mother asked how her tongue got like that, and the woman said that the cat got her tongue...literally!!! I thought it was the cutest thing, and told the lady I wanted to "steal" her dog. :-) Of course I didn't, but it was at that moment I decided that I would get a Yorkie for myself one day. So just a few short weeks ago I made up my mind that I was going to do it!
I live with my cousin, so we both decided to go looking at puppies at pet stores...this was of course before I heard about puppy mills...I know better now :-). Anyway, we went to the first pet store and they had one, but she was sold. We hiked up to another store and they had three Yorkies. Baby was the youngest and actually the first one I saw and played with. Within 30 seconds I said, "This is the one!" I didn't even need to look at the other ones...good thing or maybe I would have gotten them all! LOL
The first place we immediately went to was to Grandma and Grandpa's house. My dad said, "Who's puppy is that?" It's mine! He fell instantly in love. Then I brought her upstairs to see my mom. She didn't have her glasses on and said, "What's that?" "It's my puppy!" She fell instantly in love too!
After playing for a few hours I took her to her new home, and she's loved it here ever since. She should since Mommy spoils her!
