Dear Diary, Today I think I was a bad girl....or at least Mom thinks I was. I just don't know why she got so mad. I just wanted some Mexican that so wrong?? It all started when Mom got home from work. She took me out in the yard(on the leash, of course) for a quick potty break. Maddie came out too, but she thinks she's special since she can run around without a leash. She's always taunting me, running around and doing crazy karate kicks. Well I guess I got excited and slipped out of my collar. Well, Mom wasn't too happy about my escape! As soon as I noticed I was free....I took off down the street. I said 'hi' to all of the Mexican construction workers(they are building houses in our neighborhood)...and kept on running. I could hear the laughter in the background(I think the Mexicans were laughing at mom chasing me in her tennis skirt...he..he..he). About 6 lots from where we live I couldn't help but notice an overwhelming was kinda like a burrito. It grew stronger until I stumbled on someone's half eaten lunch! JACKPOT! It must have been leftovers from the taco truck! In case you haven't ever heard of the taco truck...I'll explain. It's a big silver truck with a bell and it comes around everyday selling Mexican food to the construction workers. Until now, the closest I got was the window next to the front door! So anyways, I start to chow down on my feast, not noticing anything that's going on around me. I'm about to scarf down the last bite, and there's Mom! She has me by my neck and she's got my collar and leash on again. The adventures over...but not without a full tummy and the lingering taste of salsa in my mouth. YUM!
