Arrival Story: My Lhasa Apso passed away after 15 wonderful years and could not get over the loss - so decided to look in the newspaper for a puppy and found one that was the exact opposite in breed and decided to take the challenge. Bio: I live in a fifth wheel in the summer and head North but live in the Valley (thats in Texas you guys) in the winter. I have met lots of dogs, cats and human friends in my travels and I keep in touch with all of them by e-mail (of course my Mom does that for me - for after all I am only a wee bit of a lass). I also have ferret and prairie dog friends - but they are sort of tasty looking don't you think??? Some of my best friends have been cats - my best cat friend (Mosby) just passed on the Rainbow Bridge and I will surely miss him. He did not cotton to me very much - but thats okay. Dad takes me up to the little park where I live in the winter and plays soccer with me every day so I get lots of exercise. I had a very bad experience in 2006. Found out I had cancer in one eye and had to have it removed. But Mom and Dad took good care of me. Also had what I thought was another bad experience but turned out to be good - got a sister and we named her Elly Mae. Learned to really love her and we play a lot together.
