Arrival Story:
Ruby actually belongs to a friend of mine but all through college I had free access to her to take her out. I would take her hiking, on trips to the dog park, camping, to the lake. She was pretty much my dog for quite a while, though she always loved her "real" people too.
Bio:
Ruby was born in Flint MI to a pit bull mama and a lab/chow mix daddy. Her daddy was a dog named Widget who was a bodhisattva who came to visit me in Ashland with his friend Phil for a while. Widget was by far the wisest dog I have ever met. Ruby moved to Oregon with her person and has lived in some crazy places. She currently has a nice warm house with her person, his wife and their two kids. She misses her hikes, but does enjoy the wood stove.
