getting small portions of food. Missing out on a walk. Eric getting next to mum first.

Favorite Toy:
A big red treat ball - ha ha typical that it would involve food.

Favorite Food:
I think it would be easier to say what does he not like - nothing!

Favorite Walk:
Shipley Country park in the woods where he can run wild and chase squirrels. He loves to meet other dogs and is in his own little world on a walk. His nose to the ground sniffing to his hearts content.

Best Tricks:
nipping up onto the sofa when Eric is trying to get up and stealing his spot.

Arrival Story:
Max was a rescue dog that I went out to assess and fell in love with. I have a soft spot for them all really but he is so sweet. He was extremely overweight when I collected him and couldn't eat out of half of his mouth becase it was so swollen and his teeth were painful for him due to a poor diet. He had not really been walked at all and the first time I took him out his feet peeled off and the poor thing was in agony. We have finally got a lot of the weight off him now and he regularly has up to 2 hours a day running around up in the local park with his friends. His pads have healed and hardened up lovely and he is becoming a fit and healthy dog.

Bio:
Max is a very affectionate dog and just loves to cuddle anyone who will give him the time of day. He is an extremely rewarding companion and I am very grateful that he came to live with us. He has filled a gap that the loss of Storm left and him and Eric have bonded very well and live alongside each other in harmony. Considering the difficult time Eric had living alongside Storm all credit to him.
