Squirrels, Plastic bags being shaken open. Skateboards and bicycles! People who sit on MY couch and don't rub my belly!

Favorite Toy:
Purple "bad-cuz" ball, I am a squeakaholic! Like to chew on brothers ears and ankles..

Favorite Food:
Not a "food" driven dog, loves peanut butter even though it usually is masking a pill . does like to eat candles, toilet paper, name a few

Favorite Walk:
Why walk? I like to go to the dog park and RUN! If there is a dog that loves to run also I will chase it. But if I must walk I am not picky about where to.

Best Tricks:
Sit, Come, Shake, Jumping up to give mom a kiss! Sit before crossing the street, Howling at sirens, dropping onto her back and going spread-eagle when asked "show me the belly!"

Arrival Story:
Had decided to rescue a dog(of large size) looked at Romeo and that didn't work out. Had put the idea on the back burner for a couple weeks. We were at our house in MB for Thanksgiving week and a friend had asked if we could keep his GSD over night as he had to work all night. Well by the next morning we knew we wanted a GSD. When we got home I came across the Virginia German Shepherd Rescuesite My husband was pretty set on getting another male dog and I was really wanting a female this time. We were told our application was accepted and all they needed to do was the home inspection.....I told the foster mom(she did the home check) to please bring Roxy with her but not to let my husband know I was interested in her....Needless to say Roxy won Stator over within minutes of being at our house and shortly after won my husband over. Roxy joined our family Dec 9th 2005 and has fit in very well! She was meant to be our furbaby!

From what we learned Roxy was rescued from a shelter in South Carolina where a BYB was trying to adopt her and her sister. VGSR sent someone down and brought them both to VA.... Roxy has (and I was told her sister did also) a scar that runs down the length of her back and is anywhere from 1/2 inch at some areas to close to 2 inches wide in others, ( no hair will grow on it) Nobody seems to know what happened to them or what could have caused it .......Roxy has adjusted well to our dysfunctional life style and we couldn't be happier she picked us! ---------------------------------- ---------------------------------- ---------- ITEMS DESTROYED TO DATE : 1 can of waterless hand sanitizer, photo package of the teenager from school, 1 patio(new in the package) umbrella, magazine, 1 cd, 15 rolls of TP, 30 + votive candles, 1 vcr tape, 5 books, 3 socks, 1 pair boxers, 2-rolls of tape, 1 roll paper towels, 4 med. size candles, 2 pairs of gloves, 1 throw pillow, corner of toy box, baby gate, 1 ballpoint pen. 2008 in review!

Wow what a year!

Let's see, It was early last year when I caught my first (and only since) bunny rabbit! Mom was none to happy about it, and we had to give him to the men in the big green truck Monday morning. Then a few weeks after that I caught a cat (I don't advise this at all!) Dad was real angry! We once again gave it to the big green truck guys!

Then Grandpa got very sick and mom went and stayed in MD for 4 weeks to be with him, she finally had to leave him, or he left her so she came back home. Mom was very sad after that long visit and stayed home with us while dad went on to Myrtle Beach for the summer.

Not much went on over the summer. Mom spent a lot of time with us and I got to start being left out of my crate when she would go out! This was Pawsome and I showed her I was a big girl!

Dad came home and they both went back to work. For Christmas dad took Fatboy and I to Myrtle Beach and mom went to Colorado to see Grandma!

We missed mom, but dad learned real fast, we were waking him up at 6am like we do mom so he could take us to the dog park! I don't think he wanted to take us at first, but we insisted and he started doing it each morning like it or not! (dads are easy to train!)

Mom also went to Nevada on her Christmas break and got to meet our pup pal Cooper's mom! I was Coopers SSP this year at Fatboys so it made it even more cool!

Mom like his mom a lot and was happy they were able to meet in Vegas!

Mom has some crappy health issues but is sure this will be a great year for us all!

OH! (Drumroll please) Mom quit smoking November 4th! over two months ago!

So let's get it started pups! HAPPY 2009 DOGSTER PALS!!!!

The case of the dead chicken!

Well over the summer mom decided it was time to start weening me out of my crate and allow me the same freedoms around here that Fatboy has!
This was great news to me as I think 3 years of it was enough, I am a big girl now and won't shred the mail or toilet paper.
So I have done great! The first few days mom had to go back to work (at school) she was leary but I did fine and now she is comfortable leaving us each morning.

WELL! Then it happened.....Okay I will say Fatboy has been left to free roam the house for years and has never messed up anything. But that doesn't mean it couldn't have been him, maybe he was waiting for the day I was allowed to join him knowing I would be the ACCUSED!

Yesterday morning was like any other with the exception of dad throwing a container in the trash that held the remains of one great smelling rotisserie chicken! Well somehow the trash can ended up in the livingroom and the chicken totally disappeared from said container! Not one morsel of evidence was left behind! (see picture #2)
Well mom comes home and right away it's "Roxy you bad girl!" ahh, what about Fatboy? Why is she so sure it was me? Do you honestly believe a chicken makes it way (not saying I know how) to the livingroom floor and HE didn't have a paw in eating it? Yes, I will admit I had a good amount myself but I am a dog. Toss a large chicken carcass to any dog and I think you can figure out what will happen. I rest my case!

The longest 3 weeks!

What a month this has been! Mom left us for over three weeks! Seems her daddy was real sick, he is better now as he is at the bridge picking up moms doggy from when she was little, her name is Missy.

The coolest thing happened while she was gone…..Of course mom didn’t think it was all that cool when dad told her, but one night dad let Fatboy and I outside in the yard (we have a 6ft privacy fence) and suddenly we realized we weren’t alone! I took control of the situation and killed the intruder! Well seems this intruder was a free spirit and should have been left alone. Yes, my friends I killed a cat. I was not proud of this and Fatboy tried to help me find a good place to bury it before dad came out but we just weren’t fast enough! We don’t know whose cat it was or if it was a feral cat that lived in our neighborhood.
