Isabella Marie 2002-2008

Where do I begin?? 2008 was the worst year of my life. In April I lost the love of my life, my husband Ron, to a major stroke at the age of 38 then on July 31st I lost Belle at the age of 6. I was not prepared for any of this. Ron & I never had children so Belle was our everything! She was devasted after Ron passed as I was but I think she mourned in her own way. She missed him so much, she wasn't the same. She had kidney failure, started having seizures, and went parcially blind all in a couple of days. Sometimes it still seems like a dream. Belle was the best, she was Daddy's little girl and Mommy's baby :) Ron & I both loved her so much and spoiled her rotten. She knew she was loved!!!
I thank the Lord for letting me have 16 years with Ron and 5 with Belle!! They truly were and will always be blessings in my life!!!
I love and miss them so!!!

My Stressful Day..........................

I awoke early this morning with my Mommy. The first thing I did was go to get a drink of water when I noticed that my water bowl was gone! How odd I thought. Then my Daddy awoke. I new something was up. I figured they were going to leave together and leave me behind. But then my Mommy put on my harness and leash. I usually get all excited but for some reason I had a bad feeling and that bad feeling was right! After several minutes in the truck we came to the most scariest place in the world, The Vets, UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well as usuall I didn't want to go in. My Parents talked to the nurse then kissed me goodbye!!!!!!!!!!! I had to stay there from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. I don't remember too much. Several hours later I awoke with a wonderful minty feeling in my mouth and three of my bottom front teeth were missing!! HOW RUDE!!!! I am only 4 years old!! I was mad!!! It turns out that I had to have a Dental done and I guess those three teeth had to come out. I think I look rather silly but my Mommy says that I am still as cute as a button! :) When my Parents arrived to pick me up I was still groggy, and still am, and oh how happy I was to see them!!! I hope I never see that place again although everyone there was very nice to me. I have been recieving so much lovins since I've been home. Sometimes it is hard being a dog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My 4th Birthday

Today is my 4th Birthday. I had a great day! Mommy and Daddy got me a cake, balloons, and the works. What a party!!! I enjoyed the cake icing the best!!! I can't wait for Mommy and Daddy's birthday because that means more cake!!!! :) I also got a ton of treats and toys. Makes me wish I had a birthday everyday!! My friend Samantha , who is in Heaven now, sent me a Rosette. That made the day extra special. My Mommy did drive me a little crazy with all the pictures that she had to take. I did get kind of bullheaded for a while. Ha Ha Ha
My enery is now zapped so I must go to bed and dream about next year's Birthday...........................

Super Bowl Sunday

Well I survived the Super Bowl!!! Wow, what an experience!! My whole family was going nuts and waving the Terrible Towels! I got alot of yummy snacks that fell on the floor plus my Mommy gave me a Greenie! I played with my squeaky football at half time. When the game was over my Mommy wrapped me in the Terrible Towel and cried tears of joy. Firecrackers were going off everywhere outside. I don't like them much so I barked my lungs out! Ha Ha Ha All of this excitement because people play with a football? I play with my rubber ball all day and I don't get a response like that! Humans.....................
Anyway the Steelers got one for the thumb!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't wait until next year.......................

Sunday- A day of Football!

Today was a very relaxing day well spent with my Mommy and Daddy watching Football. I am from PA, so of course we watched the Steelers win their second playoff game, YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!! My Daddy sometimes gets loud when watching the game but this time it was my Mommy. She was very nervous. I kept going over by her so she would pet me and calm down. Ha Ha
When the games come on I just say, "may the best team win!!" Woof Woof

Grooming Day!

My Mommy and Daddy dropped me off at the Groomers at 9:00 this morning. They want me to look nice for Christmas. I don't mind though because I love to get groomed. The Groomer said that I am one of his best customers. I go every four weeks. It's great to get pampered!!
While I was there I made six new friends. One of them was another Sheltie and he was very handsome. We were eying each other up and then my Mommy and Daddy showed up.............. Sadly I had to say goodbye and he said that maybe our paths would cross there again in the future. You never know.....................
When I came home I took a long nap. Getting pampered can sure make one tired! Ha Ha
Anyway, I am looking very forward to Santa coming tomorrow night!!!! :)
