Arrival Story:
Our local animal control had recently shut down a local puppy-mill. There were over 70 dogs of different breeds shoved in to cages in a back room. Little Odette and her “brother” monet (who recently passed away) needed a home with people experienced with dogs from bad situations, so we volunteered. We also took in a little angle, Kieran, who weighed less than a pound, but he had such severe genetic problems that he didn’t survive

Bio:
So far Odette is doing well, she has relaxed much quicker than Monet, and also has little to no physical problems. She is still getting used to us, but still gets scared easily. *update* Odette has finally opened up to us and she now can't stand to be apart from us. Unfortunately, Monet passed away so Odette needs us more now than ever. She is still afraid of people outside our family, but is getting used to the feel of the wind on her face and grass under her feet. But best of all, she now knows what it is to be loved.
