A diary of a Big Slobbery Mutt

My first entry!

Well after lots of nose nudging, pleading looks and the occassional whine my mummy *finally* set up my dogster diary, talk about slow! Hummph! Anyway its here now so i guess i better find something to talk about hey?

Well how about a bit more of an overview of me and my life for starters. I'm Pepsi (as you should have guessed by now) and i'm nearly 4 years old (make sure you don't forget my birthday in November), i live with my two mummy's, Sonia and Ruth, but i'm mainly mummy Sonia's dog unless mummy Ruth is gonna feed me or has treats or something. I also share the house with my sister Sally who's a Springer Spaniel and a bit smaller than me, she's only lived here since May as we went to the dog rescue centre and found her living there so we brought her home with us. They say she's about 10 years old or more but at times she's got lot more bounce than i have so i dunno really. I like having a sister i think although it does mean i have to share the scraps which i don't like but as long as i still get lots of love off my mummy Sonia then i don't mind Sally being here. We also have 5 kitty sisters, 3 of them don't particularly like me namely Gracie, Little M and Miss Miss but the kittens Freya and Isis are my friends, well except for the occassional times i chase them or if i tell them off for trying to steal my dinner. We also have 2 chipmunks and a hamster but i don't really pay much attention to them cos they are in their cages so not much fun really.

Anyway i think i should write some more about my mummy's. Mummy Ruth is a 'Geek' apparently, she goes to work in her smart suit and doesn't like it if i slobber on it before she gets there or if she has to work the next day. I can't see the harm in a bit of slobber myself but then thats me. When she's not being a 'Geek' (which mummy sonia says is most of the time) she likes making and listening to music and painting people, i dunno why she paints people maybe its cos they don't have fur like me and Sally. Mummy Ruth has a big appetite like me so unfortunately she doesn't tend to share much of her dinner with me unlike mummy Sonia who hardly ever finishes her dinner and so i usually get to help her eat it. Mummy Ruth walks but mummy Sonia doesn't walk she uses wheels, she's something called 'Disabled' but i'm not quite sure what that means apart from the wheels really although sometimes it means we can't go walkies cos the nasty spasms cause her pain, i think thats something to do with 'Disabled'. I don't like going walkies without Mummy Sonia, its my job to look after her you see, i have to make sure no one hurts her or anything. I think i do a good job, mummy Ruth seems to think i do anyway. So all my time really is spent either looking after mummy Sonia, protecting my garden and house, eating or sleeping. I like my life!

Anyway its getting late and mummy sonia wants to turn the laptop off so i'm going to have to go. I'll try and come back soon but i imagine that Sally will want to have a go at this diary thing before then though so i might have to wait till she's done.
