Likes:
People, getting love, giving love, sleeping on the couch or in Mama and Papa's bed, playing in the snow, eating snow, car rides, going to Petco, chasing waves, playing with the towel after a bath, going on road trips, kisses, wearing costumes

Pet-Peeves:
Laying on the floor instead of the couch (thank goodness that doesn't happen often!), being home alone, unruly dogs, rain

Favorite Toy:
Red Kong, squeaker toys

Favorite Food:
Cheese, cheese, and more cheese, Greenies, Beggin' Strips, potato skins, anything Mama and Papa eat

Favorite Walk:
Any walk is a favorite walk, especially hiking off-leash in Boulder open space mountain parks (It's legal for dogs to be off leash in those areas, and he's a great hiking leader! He always follows the trails!)

Best Tricks:
Sneaking kisses when we put on our shoes! Tank doesn't shake or roll over-you can't teach an old dog new tricks!

Arrival Story:
My husband and I are the luckiest people in the world because Tank found us! We were living east of San Diego when Tank came into our lives three years ago. Our neighbor was driving down our street when he and his girlfriend saw this big, beautiful Pit Bull. He pulled over and opened his car door. Tank jumped in the car, over our neighbor and landed between the front seats where he ended up face-to-face with our neighbor's girlfriend. They already had a Pit Bull and were not interested in caring for another dog, so they brought Tank to us for the night. After a week of no one responding to our 'found dog' flyers, we officially made him a part of our family. While living with Tank has come with its challenges, (he has separation anxiety and cannot be left home alone) it has all been worth it! He is such a joy!

Bio:
He weighs about 80 pounds and his collar says, "Hi, My name is Tank and I am sugar sweet. I live at ______" He really is our son... lol. Tank has traveled all over the country with us, from California to Florida and back west again. We now live in Boulder, CO and have found out that he is quite a snow dog! During the winter we put his handsome fleece sweater on him to keep him warm (he does not have much fur), and he plows through the powder! So cute!!! ---------------------------------- ---------------------------------- --------------- Just to let everyone know, we had to put Tank down last month because he had cancer on his underneath, was dripping blood constantly, and was starting to have trouble peeing. We loved him as our first child, and will always have him in our hearts. He was solid gold from start to finish, and his memory is cherished. :)
