I'm Back!!!

Well Miss Rose is back. Her new daddy didn't realize the committment it was to have a dog in an apartment and returned her to Basset Hound Rescue of Alabama. She seemed very happy to be back amongst her buddies. They were all thrilled to death to see her. Alot of wiggling, kissing and playing going on at my house right now.

I'm Adopted!!

Rose went to her forever home today. She lived with me as a foster for about 6 months and was adopted by her new daddy, Jonathan, today. She gave me some goodbye sugar and happily hopped in the car and left with him. She never looked back. I cried, of course. I always do. I am so happy for her to have found a good home. Just think, 6 months ago she was starving and skinny, picked up by animal control and had heartworms. Today, she has a new daddy, plenty of food to eat, a warm bed and lots of love......it's worth shedding tears and missing her to help her start a new life. That's what every dog deserves.
