I am one lucky dog, I tell ya. Today I was named "Dog of the Week" for November 2-8 on The Bichon Lover's Clubhouse" (BLC) on Dogster.com. I just love my BLC friends. That's how I met my best friend in the Whole Wide World, Reggie White, from Wisconsin (of course). Reggie won the Las Cruces Halloween costume contest! Ya just gotta hang out with the right people...er....dogs...BOL.

Wow, what a great time to be me! First, I was chosen as one of the dogs to grace the pages of the Topel Wine Tails 2010 Calendar! I am....ahem....Mr. December. Mom and Aunt Jena took me to the pawty in Sonoma (wine country) yesterday. They had an artist there, Robert Harris, who did an oil painting of me! We gave it to Dad as an early Christmas present.
I have never been for such a long car ride and I loved it. I even saw the Golden Gate Bridge. We walked around Healdsburg and I met lots of dogs--Mom and Jena drank lots of great wine. Mom thought I would sleep in the car--and miss something--what was she thinking?! I was wide awake and smiling for the entire trip. Trucks and cars and people and oh my...it was quite a day
Also, the day before Halloween, I found out I was the First Place winner in the 2009 Bichon Lover's Clubhouse (BLC) Halloween contest! Yes, I wore my Sonny Bunny Show Girl costume. Topel Wines want it for their NEXT calendar as...of course...Mr. (or Miss?) April. What a month. I gotta sleep now!

So...my pawrents and hubro, Ryan, went to wine country and all I got was a "Wine Dog" bandana! OK, I do think I look good in it. I was all over Ryan. He played with me and we got to know each other all over again. He had forgotten how I get into suitcases.
When they all left me for Vinoville, I got a new petsitter, Chris. Oh man, I'm in hulove with her, which is very different than my puplove for My Biscuit. Chris and I played and played, went for long walks, and she put me to bed at night and was there in the morning when I woke up. She even called Mom to let her know everything was just fine. Mom worries way too much about these kinda things.
I am glad things are back to normal and I'm an official Wine Dog now! Anyone for a Wine Dog Club?
