Arrival Story:
I had adopted a lost Yorkie several years ago. Her name was Madison and she was very dear to me and my children. She only lived with us for about three years. Maddy (or NeNe, as my daughter called her) died of old age on 7/4/2004 and I was devastated. I really wanted another Yorkie because they are the CUTEST doggies, but had to save up because they are expensive. I even checked into adopting one of the dogs who are in doggie foster care, but many of them have a lot of health problems and the agencies want the dogs to be in a home with a fenced yard. Since I live in an apartment, I decided to get a puppy. I looked online and in the local papers for several months and finally found Cohen in Irving, Texas. I went to see him and we loved each other right away. He was so sweet and loving and quite calm for a Yorkie. We're the best of friends and I don't know what I'd do without him!
