I had my Booster Shot Today.....

Mommy & daddy said I was a good boy. I did not even flinch when the vet gave me my shot. Last year I had a reaction to my booster shot and my face swelled up really bad and they had to give me a benadryl injection. This time mommy gave me a dose of liquid children's benadryl an hour before my shot and this time I was OK. No swelling at all. I am eating and drinking normal. Only thing is I am very sleepy. I have been sleeping most of the day. So hopefully I'll be back to my spunky self by tomorrow. Gotta rest up for New Year's Eve. I hear I have to stay up until midnight.

Christmas, Christmas, Christmas!!!!!

What a great Christmas I had! This year was really cool. I had a secret santa claws in my Min Pin Manchester Mania group and my secret santa was................ Haleigh! The sweetheart that she is got me exactly what I asked for in my wish list. A hoodie!!!!! I love my little hoodie. Thanks so much Haleigh.

Then I got a surprise package in the mail from my little buddy Oliver! Wow it was so cool! He sent me a beautiful Christmas card and 2 combat bone toys! Very fun for chewing. He also sent mommy a pawsome keychain! It says I love my dog and has a little bone and a little paw, SOOOOOO cute! Mommy just loves it and has it on her keys.

Then my buddy Gibby sent me a card and some presents which were a Harley Davidson frisbee, some COOKIES!, and a Santa Loofah Dog! Wow, what fun!!!! Boy were those cookies yummy!

Then I received a special Christmas card from a very special girl. Her name is Cashew and I just love her. She sent me a nice card with a picture of her and her brother Blackie on it.

Then of course gramma & grandpa gave me my very own stocking filled with treats. Mommy and daddy are shopping for a new harness and collar for me that I will be getting soon.

Thank you so much everyone for all my pawsome gifts. You all are very special to me and I love each and every one of you.

We had a close call......

My gramma was taken to the hospital on Tuesday because she was having chest pain and she was short of breath. They did an angiogram and all was OK! Boy am I relieved. We were so worried about my grammy! I am going to keep my eye on her and make sure she stays OK. I will be having a sleep over with my gramma and grandpa for Christmas Eve. Me, mommy & daddy will be staying the night. I am just so excited and I am doing my little happy dance. Kinda like the dance I do when daddy brings me a plate of chicken! yummy! I did not hear them say we were having chicken on Christmas Eve but I think there will be some sort of treat for me. Maybe a piece of CHEESE!

Visit with Santa and Nail Clipping. grrrrrr.....

Today I went to see Santa Claws and get my picture taken with him. OK that part was alright but afterwards I had to go into the room I don't like going in. The grooming room!!! Oh no!!!! That could only mean ONE thing. OH no, not the nail clippers!!!!! The lady that clipped my nails cut me and I was MAAAAAAAD! I was bleeding even, oh the horror! I snarled and tried to bite her. It was so traumatic, let me tell you!

Mommy & daddy are going to get one of those dremel things so they don't have to put me through that anymore. I just can't believe they put me through that traumatic experience. Why didn't they get a dremel in the first place. GEEZ! Each time I get my nails clipped I hate it worse than the time before. My nails don't grow that fast since I take a lot of walks on the asphalt but my dew claw was starting to curl under so it had to be clipped. OUCH!

So needless to say, I am very tired tonight. All that drama really wore me out. I am going to go to beddy bye now. Nighty night.

Merry Christmas!!!!!!!

Well it's Christmas time again! Oh boy oh boy oh boy! This is my second Christmas with my forever mommy & daddy. I am so excited!!!

My Group Min Pin Manchester Mania is having a Secret Santa Claws and mommy is mailing my pup's present out today! We are all just so excited about opening our presents and finding out who our secret santa claws is.

Mommy says I am going to have such a good Christmas because I am going to get so many things and I that I am loved so much and she said I have been a good boy for the most part...... hmmmmm.... for the most part? maybe she is referring to when I grab my pillow out of my bed and start thrashing it around. Or it could be when I chewed a hole in one of mommy's favorite blankets last week. ya think?

I really am a lucky little guy though. I have a warm home, a loving family and lots of treats!!!!!!! Isn't that what Christmas is all about anyway? TREATS????? just kidding.... mommy said it's all about giving and the warm feeling inside that we get when we give to others. Ok I get it, I love to snuggle! That's warm and fuzzy.

Ok pups. You will be hearing from me again soon as this happy holiday season is just starting to kick into gear. I hope everyone is behaving themselves as Santa Claws is coming to town!!!!!

I Have my Diploma now!

I graduated advanced training yesterday! Yippppeeeee! Now I have to train for my CGC. Then I may even train to get my therapy certification too. Oh I think I see agility in my future! I'm gonna be a busy little boy!

Tico went to the Rainbow Bridge

My big bird brother Tico went to the bridge on Monday morning. He was 27 years old. Mommy & daddy loved him a lot and they really miss him. He has been mommy's bird since she was just a little girl. Daddy really bonded with Tico over the past 2 years and they were buds. Tico had a couple of small strokes over the past couple of months but he bounced back because he was a real tough guy. He fought all the way up until the end but sadly suddenly at 7:15 a.m. on July 17th we lost him. Peace Tico. Until we meet again....

I Graduated Intermediate Training Today!!!

Yippy Skippy, I graduated today!!! I impressed mommy & daddy today. I did a perfect loose leash walk and believe me this has been a challenge for the parental units. I also did a perfect left and right turn with a heel and I did my stay with distractions. My trainer, Alan took a bag of cat food and picked it up in front of me and rattled it. At first, I broke my stay (that cat food smelled yummy!) but I did not break my stay the second time, yippee! I did my exteme leave it perfect too! So now I am moving on to advanced classes very soon. We can't wait!!!!!!

I have two certificates already and mommy & daddy are going to buy frames and hang them up! Silly humans!! But it's because they love me and they are so proud of me! My trainer was very impressed too. I got a really cool gift bag with this super cool stuffed bear, a bag of peanut butter biscuits, a big squeaky tennis ball and a bone and a magnet bumper sticker that says 'my good dog is a petsmart training graduate'-- that is on the refrigerator. Oh yeah, and a free coupon to get my nails trimmed- I don't really like that part but mommy does.

Oh Boy! Oh Boy! Oh Boy!

I am so excited! Mommy told me that I am going to be an ALL STAR! My trainer is so impressed with how well I am doing with my obedience training that he asked mommy & daddy if I can be a demo dog for other classes. Yeah baby, is that cool or what?! AND he wants me to be in his "All Star" group- which is a select few doggies that are so smart that they have exceled in all aspects of training. I am so honored to be part of this very elite group. I have to graduate intermediate training next weekend and then I can start my advanced classes. Mommy & daddy are so proud of me (what else is new? hee hee) and they have been working so hard with me every day. I love my mommy & daddy-- THEY ROCK! I love doing my tricks and my training exercises. I actually bug daddy after my walk and I will not rest until I run through all my training exercises and do my tricks. I love to show off and I love the treats too! BOL!
