Favorite Food: BBQ Dog treats and the occasional peanut butter and jelly sandwich
Favorite Walk: Running around in the yard
Arrival Story: My parents had been talking about getting a greyhound for a while before they went to Florida, so I wasn't all that surprised when I got the call in the middle of the week that they had adopted one. It was absolute torture waiting for them to come home with dog in tow at the end of the week. He's the family dog, but he's really mine...just ask him.
Bio: Chaz was part of a group of 20+ greyhound dogs that were rescued by the North Pinellas County Humane Society in Florida one January from a dog breeder that had gone out of business and left them there to starve to death. They were gathered up in a U-Haul and taken to the shelter where they were socialized and put up for adoption. We got the best of the bunch, just ask anyone who's met him. Chaz's registered (racing) name is Hello Codi, but that's the past and he's a professional eater and sleeper now.
