Arrival Story:
Little Lola was born in a rural country house close to Strada-in-Chianti. We found her from an announcement in a local "free paper". Quickly, we fixed an appointment to meet her foster family. Her mom and the family that cared for her were fantastic. They lived in a rustic farmhouse off a dusty road in the hills of Chianti. She had 4 other sisters, and a brother. We chose Lola because she was the smallest and the sweetest of the bunch. After another 2 weeks we returned to pick her up from her foster family. On the ride home to Florence she slept in between the two front car seats, fitting like a pea in a pod. She slept the whole way home and started her transformation into a city dog.......hence cars.......which explains the picture with the cast.....but Lolita has fully recovered from her introduction to careless florence drivers.....and now we NEVER use the retractable leash....

Bio:
She is a cross between a yellow lab, Mom, and a segugio, Dad, (I believe its a bloodhound in English) but not sure. All I know is that it is the famous truffle-hunting dog, so maybe she will find some buried treasure......
