Skittles was adopted from the Petstore at the Mall. His first name was really Charcoal, but it didn't stick. Mom renamed him Skittles. Because he was a bundle of energy. The vet assured us he would calm down when he was one year old, but he never calmed down for about 12 years. Now he is old and happy to just nap all day, and spend time with his family.
