Arrival Story:
Our Rottie passed away in Feb 2005 and shortly after we learned that Simon's cousin (Josh) had sired a litter in Canada. We went up and met the Mommy (Wicca) and put a deposit down. We chose Moose by checking out pictures sent to us throughout his first few weeks. We actually picked him out of the photo of the litter when they were 2 days old - he has distinct spots and we loved it! That's how we got Nuthatch's Moose Eh Moose CGC NA

Bio:
I started taking puppy obedience classes from Mommy's friend when I was almost 4 months old. After 8 weeks of that we started agility classes (8/05) and have been doing it ever since!! We competed in our first agility trial in Oct, 2006. No "Q's", but that was just a start. We just got our first AKC title (4/21/08), NA - Novice Agility - Standard. We also have one USDAA leg toward both our PS1 & PJ1 titles.

Camping

Hoorah! We went camping last weekend, I guess I should've taken it easier.... I always go out full bore the first day and wear myself out. Then I am tired the rest of the time and climb up in the back of the truck or in a camp chair to nap. This time I even got a little sore from all of that running. Mom says that was bad and I'm lucky we are off of agility class this week. I need to learn from Simon, he paced himself and he's not sore! Well, I'm getting lots of rest this week, Mom says I need to focus because we have an agility trial coming up and she wants to get some Q's!

Agility match

Well, yesterday Mom and I competed in an agility match. We did one 2 day trial back in October. It was super fun, but I got a little wild and a bit out of control. We haven't practiced or done classes in a few months. But we decided to try this match. Well, we both did good!!! We didn't get a "Q", but that's ok. We had lots of fun and Mom says that we exceeded the goals we had. We were both a bit rusty. I didn't knock any jump bars, woo hoo!! I also stayed focused and stayed in the ring!! Mom says only a few more days and we start class back up, yeah!!!!!

Catch up.......

Wow, it's been awhile......
Well, I went to that class with the new dogs. Boy, there were alot of dogs!!! Mostly puppies. They weren't as advanced as my normal class, but they were still good. I was on the best behavior ever (that's what Mom and the teacher said). I was just trying to show off!! Hee Hee!! I had lots of fun and MOm and I worked more on the 12 poles. That was cool.
Then we went to class at the normal time the next week. It was fun except one of my friends wasn't there :( We did a long sequnce and Mom and I did pretty good. MOm says we are on another break from classes and won't go back for a few more weeks. At first I was sad. But then MOm started building all of this equipment for home!! She made 6 more weave poles so now we have 12 at home. She also made 2 really nice bar jumps, better then the one we have now. She made part of the tire jump, I hope she finishes it soon! I also see a chute. I don't think that's done yet either. Maybe she'll finish them all soon and get more!!! Yeah!!! We've been working outside everynight instead of inside. I like it since now I can do the table and do more obstacles in a sequence. But it's different so I'm not as confident. But I"m getting better. Mom will only let me do the jumps out in the grassy part of the yard and she keeps me on the leash. Boo Hoo. If she would let me off I would try to stay there, it's just that my friends want to see me and I can hear them and I want to go visit...focus, focus......mom says soon we won't have to worry about me running off because of invisible fence.....whatever that is? That would be ok, because I could focus and hopefully my friends could come and visit in MY yard!!
