 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: February 12th 2003
Likes: Running, cheese, snuggling, being the center of attention

Pet-Peeves: Nail clippings, touching his paws in general, baths, brushings....really, any and all grooming

Favorite Toy: Moochy Poochy

Favorite Food: Cheese and Frosty Paws (dog ice cream by Purina)

Favorite Walk: The Baton Rouge Dog Park , The Danny Jackson Family Bark Park (Houston)

Best Tricks: I just learned "shame on you!" I rub my face with my paw as if I'm sad or shy or ashamed. I also know Sign Language cues for sit, speak, stay, shake, and roll over. And, I can jump into mommy's arms on command, despite my 30 pounds of pure muscle.

Arrival Story: Mommy was only supposed to 'foster' me for a week and then return me to the shelter so I could find a permanent home. Well, a week and several tears later, Mommy couldn't let him go! (I couldn't let Mommy go either!)

Bio: I'm back in Baton Rouge now, but I still visit Houston often. My new brother Sammy lives there with Dad (Mom and Dad officially adopted him!! Finally!!) Mom and I will be moving to the new house in Houston with them in December. We can't wait!!

Forums Motto: Do you like my jaunty new bandana?

I have a new little brother now!!! That means I'M a BIG brother! It's really made me grow up fast. I have to teach my little brother all sorts of new things! Like how to go outside to potty and how to cuddle and how great treats are. He doesn't know ANYTHING. Mom and Dad are fostering him from the Italian Greyhound Rescue Group in Houston where we live now. He came from a mean, mean place before that where he didn't even know how to be a real dog!! It was crazy!!
At first, I didn't like him that much. He was snuggling with MY mom and sleeping in MY bed and eating MY food and playing with MY toys.
And he steps on me...a LOT. He's like a mountain goat!
But now I've gotten to know him a little better and he plays with me now! It's not his fault he had no manners, so I have to teach him. He's gotten MUCH better now and I wouldn't mind if he stayed and became my REAL little brother! Cross your paws for me!

So I'm at the dog park, right? Running about, sniffing, chasing, whatever and the strangest ting EVER happens....This dog comes up to me and it's like looking in the MIRROR! The dog looked EXACTLY like ME!!! Same markings and everything. Her name is Stella and she's extraordinarily attractive (naturally) and super perfect. Mommy and Stella's grandma talked forever about how much we are exactly the same. We both are really skinny, we both love to hold toys in our mouths while kicking other toys with our front paws. We both love getting in people's laps too! It's a shame we aren't really related, but from now on Stella is my pretend-twin-sister. I hope I see her again at the dog park soon!
