Arrival Story:
My Mommy's mom's cocker spaniel had to be put to sleep, says my mommy, and she was missing having a dog around the house. She says she kept reading all kinds of ads for dogs. Then she says she saw a picture of me in the paper and I was being held with somebody's hand for the picture. She says she fell in love with my picture and named me from the picture. She saw me at the vet's office where they were holding me and they had given me this awful thing called a bath and then she adopted me. I wasn't sure that she loved me, though, and for awhile, I'd try to run back to the vet's, but I soon learned the truth and now I'm a Mommy's dog, but don't let anybody know that I said that!

Bio:
I am a beagle and black labrador mix. I LOVE attention. I also like to bark and play. I now like to sleep as well, but barking always comes before sleeping. I am VERY friendly and I love all people and all other dogs. All I ever want to do when I see another dog is play, and I think it is wrong if I am more than three feet away from another dog (unless it's my "widdle brovver" [little brother, says my mommy] which is my Mommy's mom's dog, but my family got him years after they got me!).

Diagnosis:
For quite a few years, I've had a heart murmur and it has gone from grade 1 to grade 3. In Jan. 2008, it became difficult for me to breath. I went to the dogter and I was diagnosed with congested heart failure and now have to take Lasix to clear up excess fluid.

I Am A Good Boy!

Mommy says that she is very tired. Oh yeah, now I just communicate my thoughts to the computer, and it can put them on the screen. I am a dog, so I can do whatever I wants and it works because it works in my mind.

She says she is tired because I kept her awake last night. However, she says that I am a good dog.

I barked and barked and barked. At first she thought I was just barking at one of the other dogs, but I was barking to let her know I thought something was wrong. I did not want anything to hurt my mommy!

She let me outside and I sniffed and sniffed and sniffed for the thing, but I did not find it. I did take time to use the bathroom since I was in my bathroom, but that is not why I was barking.

My widdle brovver even barked and thought something was wrong.

Mommy says that the thing must have been under the house. When she went to bed with me again, she told me that I was a good dog, though.

She knows that I just love her and want her to be safe.

Mr. M
