Nicknames:
Dufunkle, Silver Badilver, Silly Dilly

Quick Bio:
-purebred

Likes:
People, kids, other dogs, running, playing, pretty much he likes everything!

Pet-Peeves:
He doesn't like to go potty in the rain.

Favorite Toy:
Anything he's allowed to chew, big red block, and sticks or large pieces of wood.

Favorite Food:
Anything that might possibly be edible

Favorite Walk:
anywhere his people will take him or if he can jump the fence, he'll just take himself!!

Best Tricks:
He's learning to kick on command. Jumping our fence on a daily basis could be a fun trick! One trick I'd like him to learn is how to walk - he thinks he has to run everywhere!

Arrival Story:
Silver's mommy dog and daddy dog were patients at the animal hospital I was working at in California. We had just purchased our home on 2.5 acres in Utah and my husband decided he wanted a dog of his own. Silver had a hernia when he was a baby so the breeders were giving him away for free! He is such a handsome boy, we couldn't resist!

Bio:
Silver is one of the most handsome weimaraner's I've ever seen! He is stunning. Maybe I'm just a proud mom, but he really is a studly looking dog! His loving personality can sometimes be overwhelming. He has more energy than I ever thought imaginable! Good thing he has room to run! He's always happy to see people, especially new people and kids! His size makes him a little scary to kids, but he doesn't know that. He thinks he's just a little guy.

My First Hunting Trip!

I finally got to go pheasant hunting. Dad has been telling me since I was just a little pup that when I was old enough we'd go hunt birds. We went to a pheasant ranch in Panguitch, Utah. I went with Dad, my best friend, Whyatt (he's Dad's human son), and Uncle Andy. They had a bunch of other dogs there and WOW they were smart! They kept sniffing the ground then would stop and point at stuff. I'm still not sure what they were sniffing, but I don't blame them - there were some GREAT smells! Everyone told me I did a great job. I didn't bother the other dogs and did my best to follow and learn from them. I only wish it hadn't been so cold that day. Whyatt and I had to go back to the truck before dad was done because we just got too cold! The worst part though was the creek we had to cross! I really don't like to get wet, but they all just crossed the creek and left me on the other side. I finally had jump across the four or five foot wide creek, but I didn't get a drop of water on me! I can't wait to go back. I have a new jacket too so maybe I won't get so cold. Mom is still trying to convince dad that I should wear boots too for tromping around in the snow. Everyone says I will be a great hunting dog. I'm going to do my very best to prove them right! Wish me luck in learning which smell to find and all that other fancy stuff those smart dogs did.
