Around the neighborhood, she's an old girl but still has alot of energy

Arrival Story:
Her former owner had to find her a new home due to new children in the family. (Old Sharpei and new children sometimes do not get along) I went to take a look at her and I was immediately smitten. She was very spoiled when I got her and still is. She was over-weight but has lost around 8-10 lbs since putting her on an all-natural diet. She has some joint problems but can hop around like a bunny rabbit. She loves to go for walks, lounge on the leather couch, bark at everything, and tries to eat all the other dog's food. She hates getting her ears, nails and baths but submits anyway. She loves to lick give kisses

Bio:
We found out Sadie had lung cancer on Sept 22 and one week later we had to put her down. The cancer had spread and she was getting worse. The vets said there was nothing else they could do. Our family is totally destroyed. She was one of the most loving creatures the world could ever have and we miss her dearly. I pray I will see her again some day.

On Sept 29, 2004 we had to let Sadie go. We will miss her so much. She has been a great friend to me and I hope and pray I will see her again. Our family will be very sad for along time. We are greiving the loss our Sadie, Sadie Sharpei Lady. Thanks for all the prayers.

Sadie was diagnosed with Lung cancer today. She is doing fine but the doctor says she may only have a short time to live. We're hoping she has more time. We will keep you updated on how she is doing.
