So...one day dad was making kolaches and I was supervising, as always. Poor dad thought he had all the ingredients back far enough on the counter. Boy was he wrong! I found me some bread dough, not cooked (mom says it's gross, but hey...I was desperate) and I ate not 1....not 2...not 4...but 7 balls of bread dough.
Then dad comes back saying to himself...is that all I have??? He calls mom who says to call the vet...who says to give me 3 tablespoons of peroxide to throw up or I could DIE (bread dough would rise in my tummy...yikes!). Dad finds a way to get me to drink it...and HOLY bread balls batman...did it all come up! Bread balls were everywhere.
Dad was so relieved, he wasn't too hip on having to take me to the vet and get my stomach pumped. I haven't gotten into anything else lately, but you never know with me.
Later allligators!

So, as you all know I'm on this damn diet and am hungry all the time. No one seems to care. I get fed twice a day with special Science Diet "diet" dog food and a can of green beans every day, so don't feel too bad for me. I have lost 6 pounds so far, and yes I think I look lovely!
Dad was being so sweet to mom, before she was off to work. He made her an egg & cheese breakfast sandwich on an english muffin. It smelled so good. Mom was so happy to have breakfast, but put the sandwich on the dryer...went to go get her shoes and purse to head out the door. She goes to grab the sammy and BAM..it's gone :o(
I'm looking guilty as ever with the napkin in my mouth. I tried to find an alabis, but when you're caught, you're caught. Mom just laughed, gave me a kiss on the nose and said "I knew better" then called me an opportunist. Poor mom went to work hungry...now she can know how I FEEL all the time!

Hi everydog!
Mom had such a great day today. She went to St. Viader Catholic School and read my book, Jackpot's Tail, to the 68 kids in 2nd grade classes 2A and 2B.
That's a whole lotta kids and boy they were SO GOOD, well behaved and smart! Everyone listened intently to my story and asked great questions afterward. They also thought I was so cute :o)
The illustrator of my book, Melissa Sanchez, also came and answered questions from the kids about how she came up with the illustrations. They thought she was super cool!
Mom handed out book marks and doggie pencils to the kids and showed them lots of pictures of little 'ole me. She thanked them for letting her come to their classroom. Being a Catholic school, mom was free to talk about God and that was fun. The kids even prayed along with me (in my book I have a few prayers asking for God to help me find a fur-ever home)...mom thought the kids were just adorable.
Thanks again, St. Viader, for listening to my story. Our hope is that you help other dogs in need of a good, forever home!
Woofs,

The last couple weekends mom had busy Sunday's on Durango and Warm Springs educating people this Christmas season to ADOPT- NOT SHOP when looking for a new furry family member.
Check out the latest update at www.eskie-rama.com
Mom has joined a group of people here in Las Vegas who have coordinated peaceful & educational pet store protests. The goal is to promote the message – people should ADOPT and not buy from Pet Stores. The holiday season is the peak time of the year for Pet Store profits and many of these stores buy puppies from puppy mills.
Us pups, we have NO VOICE...you MUST speak for and defend us. Please make sure to tell all your friends about all the dogs available at your local shelter or animal sanctuary. There are many wonderful dogs waiting ever so patiently to find their forever home.
I once was lost, but now have found MY home sweet home...and I am grateful!
Many woofs!

I'm such a big girl now! I go to school every Wednesday night at Smarty Paws Canine Academy. Mom & I have a great time and are both learning lots. Mom learned a cool way to help me walk right next to her and sit when she stops walking. Mom can tell I'm paying attention and love to learn new things. Our teacher is SO smart and very nice, positive trainer. We really look forward to Wednesday's :o)

Hi everydog!
We had such a great time at the Lighthouse Academy reading my biography. Mom got to read to two classes and I got to perform all my tricks and then each and every kid got to pet me. That's a whole lot of attention...40 kids in all, and it was SO much fun!
On the way home I slept in the car, I was pooped but had sweet dreams :o)
Lighthouse Academy has invited us back in August when they get new kids, so that should be great fun! We'll have to post pic's soon...

I was hungry....and I don't care who knows it! I was a super sleuth in search of food and SUDDENLY, grammy goes to the fridge for a piece of bologna and walks towards the back porch. She was swingin' her arm with the bologna in her hand and then I attacked! I grabbed the bologna and ate it in ONE (maybe two) bites. Before grammy figured out what was going on, it was G-O-N-E gone! YUM-O!
I know I have consequences when I steal Zeke's food, but grammy was a piece of cake. Hmmm, a piece of cake sounds good too!
Grammy told on me though...how rude! She said it was too slippery to hold onto when I took it! HEHE...everyone has been laughing about me ever since. We're calling it the Bologna Caper!
Hope everdog had a great weekend. I got to go to the park with mom & grammy...mom & I walked around & grandma sat under a tree with my water. We would walk and then visit grammy. What a great time!
