Oh Max had lots of tricks, probably best not to discuss them here.
Arrival Story:
We had gone to the local shelter looking for a puppy... we found one, a 5 or 6 year old Rottie puppy! Max had the most soulful eyes. He was a shelter favorite and as soon as we looked at him the volunteers rushed over to tell us what a great dog he was. He didn't look great. He was 90lbs and you could see every rib and every vertebrae on his back. He had an infected hot spot on his tail, an ear infection and cholesterol deposits on his eye. Well we took him home and never looked back.
Bio:
Max was the Patriarch of the family. His best friend for years was our cocker, Chelsea. When she passed he was heartbroken. He helped raise Bella, Harry and Bob and did a great job of it too. Max was his mommy's great love. She misses him terribly. They were truely soul mates.
At best guess Max was somewhere between 12 and 14 when he left us. He gave us every last second that he could and then he had to say goodbye.
We miss you buddy. More and more with every passing day...
