Arrival Story:
Bailey was adopted my sophomore year in college when he was 9 weeks old. He stayed with my parents for the first 2 years after I graduated from college, but loved living in snow territory. He is accident prone - generally accidents that are his fault, but ... - he's jumped through 2 windows (yes, through the glass on one and through the screen on another), gone through sliding glass door, and attempted to eat a lightbulb. Can anyone say separation anxiety? When I tell people how old he is no one believes me - I have a feeling that he's going to be with us for many years to come.

Cold and Rain - GREAT combination

Dirt is a dog's best friend

So, it's cold and rainy here in Dallas - I wish it was snow, but rain is the next best thing! So, I'm out patrolling the yard making sure none of those squirrels can sneak up on us and decide I need to go check on mom and dad in the house. So, I was feeling kind of frisky and tear into the house and mom starts yelling - I don't know what her problem is, but she headed for the chewies so I decided to follow her. It was a mean trick!! She wasn't going for the chewies she was going for those nasty dog wipes! She made me stand there while she wiped off all the lovely dirt I'd managed to get on my paws! And when she was done, I didn't even get a TREAT for standing still while she did it!! Can you believe the indignity of it?!?!
