I am also the co-founder of Giant Schnauzer Rescue , which has been recently changed to Giant Schnauzer Assistance Canada. This new organization is dedicated to helping pay for expensive surgeries Giants may need. This will benefit any Giant Rescue or any Giant family companion. Our fundraiser this year is the 2nd Annual Giant Schnauzer Fun Day on June 10th,2006 in Milton Ontario.

Mya comes from Delarive Kennel outside of Montreal Quebec. She is my second Giant. I lost my first Giant at the age of 8 in Sept 2004 to cancer. Jasper, rest in peace my big girl

Right now, there are 2 Giant Schnauzers that have been lost/stolen and their owners really want them to come back home!
The first one is Quincy. He is from Ontario and has been missing since December 10th, 2006. He is a 3 year old Black male, docked tail, natural ears, neutered and microchipped.
The second is Axel. He was stolen from his home in Utah. He is a 1 year old salt and pepper Giant. Docked Tail and cropped ears, microchipped and neutered. He has been missing since November 2006.

My mommy was very sad because a big Giant Girl named Jasper decided it was her time to go to that bridge that I hear about. Mommy decided that she couldn't live without another Giant, so she started her search for a new puppy. Well, mommy heard that a breeder in Quebec had 2 puppies left, a male and a female. I heard the phone ring and Pierre and Marie asked this person on the phone lots of questions and then I heard them say that this person could come and have a look at me! The next day, Pierre decided to give me a bath and cut my hair. While I was getting this done, this nice lady came along and was watching me. It must be her I thought. How do I make her like me? I know, if she gets close enough, I can give her a hug. She got close and I decided to climb up her and wrap my arms around her neck. Hey, I like this lady, hey I think she likes me too. Then I got a chance to strut my stuff outside with my little brother. Watch me, I'm a star! Look what I can do, I can tackle my brother. Not long later, that nice lady picked me up and put me in her car and we took a nice long ride back to this place called Ontario where they speak a different language. As we were about to walk into her house, I heard a noise. When I walked in, there was this guy there, I think I'll call him Poppy and this little guy. Hey I think I have a new brother. Wow, I think I'm going to like it here!
