Arrival Story: Lillie had the happy experience of a CUR run (canine underground railroad) put together for us by golden retriever rescue. 12 amazing volunteers drove her tag-team style from St-Louis, Missouri to New York City where she joined me and my two cats, Annie and Eudora. Lillie learned her street smarts and fashion sense in Manhattan for 2 years before becoming a polite Canadian citizen and Torontonian.

Bio: She's come a long way, from an extremely shy, skittish girl to the friendly, attention-loving pooper she is today.

I had a great time last weekend when my people took me to this place across the water from the city, called Toronto Island. It was soooooo hot that weekend, but we took the ferry over to the island, there was a nice breeze blowing, and I could smell the sea air. Well, it wasn't technically "the sea", more of a giant lake really, but anyways...We walked what seemed like forever until we came to an area where there were -I kid you not - HUNDREDS of tasty looking geese roaming around, just like that, in front of me. While I pleaded with my people (I like to cry frantically to really freak them out) to let me get at 'em, they wouldn't have it. Oh yeah, and there were ducks too, which looked like they'd be even more fun to run after, since they're not so darn big. All I wanted was a little taste, I wasn't going to hurt any of them...at least not much. I would think my people would be happy to see me put my hunting instincts to the test, but they just don't seem that interested. Huh.
Anywho, I did pull Vanessa into the lake with me, it was hilarious. Tried as she may to roll up her pants and not get wet, I waded out far enough into the lake and she ended up soaking wet too - haha. It was great - I love to swim!
Then I had a long nap. I wonder when i'll get to go swimming again?
