Arrival Story:
Monte is a rescue dog. He was traumatized in the head area as a puppy, thus causing his eye to be removed. Afterwards, he was going to be sent back to the breeder, however I did not know what the breeder would do as most do not like to breed those with genetic defects -- his underbite causing his tongue to hang out. Monte did not have an ideal life from this point, but he was still a very happy and active puppy. So, I adopted him on the spot as I did not ,and would not, let him have the slightest possibility of being euthanized. Monte came home with us that day, then and there.
