Likes: Pretty much everything, but she especially loves attention and being petted! She will follow you around and nudge you until you pet her. She likes being brushed, going for walks and rides, and chasing her tail. She loves playing with other dogs, too.
Pet-Peeves: She doesn't like thunder, and she is very timid around dogs that bark at her.
Favorite Toy: She doesn't have any toys that she really likes right now.
Favorite Food: Almost anything.
Favorite Walk: She loves to walk anywhere, but she especially loves going where there are lots of smells.
Best Tricks: Take a bow, roll over, shake. (Very original, huh? BOL!)
Arrival Story: On November 14, 2003, when Lady was almost 3 years old, I bought her from a couple who put an advertisement in the newspaper. They wanted to place her in a home where she could have more attention. I loved her as soon as I saw her, because she was so excited, she ran up to us with her whole body wiggling she was so happy. Even though she was always very friendly, I don't know if she had been well socialized before I got her. She was shy and she would get a bit scared when someone crinkled a plastic bag. Now she is a therapy dog, and she loves meeting people and going new places!
Bio: Lady is a Canine Good Citizen and a Therapy Dog (registered with Therapy Dogs International). Her therapy dog title is TDIAOV (Therapy Dogs International Active Outstanding Volunteer). She received the title TDIAOV on March 25, 2008, for having 150 visits documented. She passed her Therapy Dog and Canine Good Citizen test on June 27, 2006. She loves to go on therapy dog visits. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When I saw Lady for the first time, one of the first things I noticed was her dark color. Because she is so dark, people will often assume that she is an Irish Setter. Lady doesn't have any papers, but the previous owners told us that her father (named "Sampson") did have papers, and although her mother ("Sassy Girl") didn't, she was purebred too.

Lady loves to go on walks! She also just loves to be with people.

Lady's birthday is December 30, 2000.

Well everyone, it's been quite a while since I wrote an entry.
This year I've been continuing to go places and visit people as a therapy dog. I went to the vet last month, and so far I am healthy with no problems. My owner is so grateful for that! I will be turning eight years old this month.
I hope everyone has a wonderful stress-less December, and a blessed Christmas!
Merry Christmas everyone!
This is what you have to do. Listen up because it’s different than usual. (think 5/5/5)
You have to write a letter to Santa Paws with 5 requests in your diary.
Then you give whoever tagged you 5 bones or treats.
Then tag 5 more cats or dogs.
Dear Santa Paws: This is what I'd like for Christmas:
1. For all my Dogster friends to be healthy and happy
2. For all the dogs without loving homes to be cared for and protected.
3. For Sissy's family to all be well. Sissy's mommy, Jazzi, and Sissy herself.
4. For Lady to stay healthy.
5. For Dogster HQ to know how much we appreciate their hard work.
