He hates it when people leave. Even the plumber. Everyone should just stay forever. He also hates stairs.

Tug-o-war ropes are his favorite.

Favorite Food:
Bacon-flavored treats, Bah-bah-Que Lamb treats, and pasta with lots of tomato sauce

Favorite Walk:
Along the Mississippi River there's an off-leash dog park he loves. He also loves walking at Lake Nokomis.

Best Tricks:
Sit, shake and down~ only performed if a bacon treat is on offer.

Arrival Story:
I saw Laddie's photo on the Minnesota Wisconsin Collie Rescue website and just knew he was going to be my dog. I couldn't believe someone would give up such a beautiful Collie after they'd had him for 8 years, his whole life, but they said they could no longer take care of him. Up until that moment I would have sworn I was a cat person, but something happened!!! And the cats loved him right away. He's a gentle old soul.

Bio:
I strongly encourage people not to rule out adopting an older dog. Laddie was already 8 years old when I got him but he still has so much energy, humor and love left! There's a great website called the Senior Dogs Project - www.srdogs.com - check it out!
