Possums, raccoons & cats in my back yard, very loud noises, wet grass, the doves making a nest in Mom's Staghorn fern, and other dogs that think they are the Boss of me!! Oh and another thing I hate is THAT sweater..take a look at my pictures!
Favorite Toy:
Nylabone/wolf size (which I chew to a nubbins about every 6 weeks), tennis ball, and a rope pull toy with a furry dog head in the middle that barks when I bite it just right.
Favorite Food:
Carrots, radishes, red cabbage, apples, bananas and oranges. I really like my regular food, but those are my favorite treats.
Favorite Walk:
Anywhere...every day I have my "Staff of Two" accompany me around the neighborhood to retrieve and post my pee-mails.
Best Tricks:
Walking on my hind legs like a circus dog and looking sooooo cute! I am also adorable when I make my "soul patch" (sort of like my hackles, but only about 3" worth) stand up for the oddest reasons.
Arrival Story:
Riley was rescued from a local no-kill shelter the day after Thanksgiving 2001. We intended to adopt a puppy, but when we saw Riley it was kismet. So at 2-1/2years old and after a stressful early life of emotional and possibly physical abuse, Riley found her perfect home. At 13 lbs., she is our first small dog...but she sure doesn't know she's small.
Bio:
Everywhere we take Riley, people comment on her freckles (ticking) and how cute she is. She is a bundle of energy and can be quite mischievous at times, but most of the time she is content to snuggle. She sleeps under the covers with her people and is spoiled rotten. Her mantra is "So??? What's wrong with that??"
