Arrival Story:
He picked us.
After losing our beloved Benson, also a black lab, we decided never again. But we missed the companionship in our daily life. One Sunday in 1998 we saw an ad for black lab pups, called the individual and drove 50 miles to see the pups. We played with the four pups, unable to chose one. Then Rumbeau walked up to Sam, put his front paw on his knee and looked up into his eyes, as if to say 'Take me home. I want you to be my Dad.' Clearly Rum made the decision for us. :)
Bio:
I have a very sensitive tummy and can only eat lamb and rice formula foods. But I love treats, all kinds, especially rawhide chews!

I am so happy! It is my birthday and today I am 8 years old. Mom gave me a treat first thing this morning...(grin)...rawhide don't you know. Maybe tonight after work she'll bring me a cake. Ah, I love cake!
