Bananas, papaya, whipped cream, raw bones, fish, and rice.

Anywhere that she can be admired , naturally.

Her regal nature puts her "above" having to do much to earn praise...

Arrival Story:
I found her as a pup on death row at our local shelter, which had a "no pit bull" policy. I tried everything to get her out, but to no avail. She was deemed potentially dangerous because of her breeding and a threat to public safety. On her last day, I sobbed my apologies in front of her cage and she placed her paw on my arm and looked at me with a serene expression that said, "Don't worry, everything happens as it should." I went home, still sobbing, and happened across a number for a rescue group. A sympathetic lady called me back and after pulling a few favors with the shelter, instructed me to meet her in the parking lot. Ten minutes later, I was on my way home with my smuggled pup, no paperwork, and a solemn promise to never tell this story to anyone...

Bio:
We are pretty sure Nani is a traveler of the Universe and is just here on a "f ur"-lough. She is often seen gazing at the sky and prefers to do most things in unusual, non-doglike ways. She yodels more than she barks and she spends an inordinate amount of time viewing the world from her upside down vantage point. If given a choice between a banana and a piece of steak, the banana wins every time. No worries, though. We love her anyway and she's welcome to stay until her next hitch across the galaxy.
