Any really loud noise - I sing if I hear one, the giant waterbowl in the back yard - I fell in twice and will NEVER go near it again. I hate that Tucker is an attention hog and of course when people have the audacity to eat in front of me and not share!

Anything that anyone is eating. I'm not picky. I'll eat anything, as long as it's human food.

Favorite Walk:
Up any mountain and anywhere dad takes me. I like mom, too, but she's not dad!

Best Tricks:
Jumping like a pogo stick. Playing guard dog when I'm tied up

Arrival Story:
I was adopted from the Santa Clara County Animal Shelter. My dad, brother and sister were looking for a dog, and thinking maybe a Golden Retriever mix would be good, then they saw me. I am soo cute that they could not resist.

Bio:
I was originally Mickey, but when dad and the gang adopted me, they thought Kimo was much more fitting. After I lived with them for a few years, Mom moved in with her two cats. I soon learned that cats are not to chase (at least those two weren't, but the rest... it's open season). Then mom brought home a 5 month old Puppy named Tucker. He was my size at 5 months, but I kept him in line. Now that he's twice my size, he thinks he's in charge, but we know the truth!

May you Rest in Peace

We had to put Kimo down last night (January 21, 2009) because her cancer was advancing and she was in pain. She will be sorely missed.

My fondest memory of Kimo is how she was always impatient to go further on hikes. We would hike our favorite trail and stop at the first gate (about 2.5 miles into the trail). She would drink some water, then get impatient. We'd see her half way up the next hill (never on the easier trail, either) staring back at us as if to say, "Come on, you lazy people. Let's get a move on!" She could out hike everyone, including Tucker. She never really had a chance to compete against Jimmy, though.

I know she's at the Rainbow Bridge with Tucker playing with him, policing the other dogs there (she is definitely a card carrying member of the play police!) and hiking to her heart's content.

RIP little girl. Thank you for the wonderful memories you left us!
