Yippy.... finally a Saturday without rain....:) I just know that a was going to get a really good walk today. Sure enough my mom get my leash and said let's go, boy was I happy. There I was sniffin and marking, marking and sniffin when a little black and white terrier mix ran up to us to play. My mom noticed that she had a clip with a broken piece of rope attached to her collar and I thought oh no I hope that shes not lost, because I would really hate to be lost and away from mom & dad. We looked on her collar for a name tag, but all she had was her dog license with her vet's phone number and the tag number. We looked around to see if anyone was around, but didn't see anyone, so we decided to start knocking on some doors to see if they had seen the dog in the neiborhood before since we were about 3 blocks away from our house. Nobody know the poor little dog. While my mom was thinking of what to do, I was thinking OH BOY maybe she'll take her home and I'll have a new playmate, because she was really cute and nice. Just when I got done thinking that, she attached the handle part of my lease on the clip on my new friend and we started home. Boy, we were a handfull... mom had to walk between us because we wanted to play all the way home. I think mom was alittle tired when we finally got home from trying to get both of us home. The first thing mom did was get my dad. Boy was he surprised when he opened the door. It was really fun because they let us out back and we played and played. Mom and dad had gotten the phone number off of her dog tag and called the vet's office. They said that they would look up her owner and have them call us. Not 5 minutes later the phone rang and her owner said, I think you have my dog and I'll be ther in a few minutes to get her. Mom and dad were really happy, but I was really sad, I was losing my new friend. When her owner came we found out her name was Heather and that they had been looking for her. I wasn't so sad about lossing a friend when I saw her face when she saw her dad. Heather was one happy dog. Dad and I think mom was pretty special today for taking the time to saving a poor lost dog. I think I'll sleep for the rest of the day and dream about Heather.

Saturday started out just like most Saturdays... Woke up, moved from my Mom and Dads bed to the heater vent (love the heater vent) and then make myself comfy on the couch. Little did I know that today wasn't going to be the same. When I saw that my mom had my lease in her hand I thought wow a walk cool... Off we go for our walk and I'm having a real good time sniffing everything in site and marking my turf along the way when all of a sudden we come over the last hill to home and I see the big white van out front of our house. Not the groomer, anything but the groomer......So, there I am being washed, blown dry, clipped, cut, shaved and anything else she wanted to do to me and my mom and dad are just standing there chit chatting away while I'm being put through the ringer. I though they loved me..... At lease when she was done with me she gave me a treat. The rest of the day I just just took naps and tried to forget the whole thing. Sunday started out like Saturday, but today after my walk I got to go outside with my dad and help him clean out the garage, just the two men of the house.
