I forgot to update my diary after my vet appointment!

I just came away with a severe flea allergy! That's all that it was. Mom and Auntie Kim were both very relieved. I also can't believe that I forgot to update my diary right afterward. BOL

Health Issues

Ok. I seem to really be freaking Mom out here. First, I'm itching like crazy and while Jack is too, he doesn't seem to be as bad as I am. Then Mom found a swollen area on me yesterday. It could be chalked up to me being "excited" or the itching, but then she found another swollen area...left side of my anus. The same place as my sister Farrah had hers. This is freaking Mom out...big time. They are going to try and get me into the doctor today. Please pray and hope that good news comes back and that it's something simple and treatable. I don't want to think of what would happen if it came back bad.

Yes, I am admitting it.....I'm Bad!! BMAO I do have a bad side to me and Mom thought that this song just suits me. I'm actually trying to be good, but I just love mischief! I love getting into trouble...like the garbage. I can open up the garbage can and pull stuff out of it. I tear up things so fast that my humans don't even realize it until they find pieces of paper, cardboard boxes, etc., lying around the apartment. BOL

I also know that is has been a long time since we have been on here, but we are back...even though it still may be part-time for now, but we are back. I've got some news for you!

Mom has gotten her Bachelors of Science degree in Criminal Justice - Crime Scene Investigation, but she can't work in the field because of her health. She also has her Masters of Science in Higher Education - College Teaching and Learning and is looking for an online teaching position. She is also trying to get into Western Governors University for her Post-Bac in Elementary Education Teaching K-8. She wants to teach K-2. Her start date will be in April, provided her former college sends over her transcripts. That is all that Mom and WGU are waiting on now. Once those transcripts arrive, them Mom can do her Intake Interview and may have to take a couple of courses before starting her program, but that would have to be at another college, because WGU doesn't do that. Then she has to take the Education Without Borders class, then she would start her main program. It is most likely going to take her a couple of more years to do that.

We are also looking to move to Hamburg, NY because my other Mom is not only working full-time at a local hospital, but she is attending Hilbert College and the drive from Grand Island is a looooong one. Moving closer to the college would save on gas and maybe even lower rent some, since they are paying a lot now. Plus, with my other Mom and having torn her ACL about a year ago...maybe longer (Mom can't remember)...the stairs are not good idea for Mom2. bol Going up and down them is tough.

Mom has her own pain issues as well, so a one level apartment would be a better option for all of us...including Jack....who is still 27 pounds. bol They are working on him and getting him to lose weight.

Anyway, that is everything that I can think of...that has happened lately. BOL If I forgot anything I'm sure Mom will update this. BOL

Beginner's Class

Yep! Mom enrolled me in Beginner's Class. BOL I don't like going there, but yet I do. You see, I am not to confident in myself and I get scared. So much so that I hid under Mom's stool during class. Mom is going to call my vet about something to ease my anxiety. They don't want to dope me up and knock me out, but just ease my stress some. I absolutely, will NOT, perform tricks in class. BOL I DID do it after class, last week though. I know how to "sit", "down", and "stay". I do have a little trouble with the loose leash walking and I am learning "come" this week. Mom and Auntie have noticed that I do have more respect for Mom though, then I did before classes even started. I would try to get away with anything and everything! BOL Not anymore! Well, there are only two classes left and I don't know if I will graduate, because of my fear. If I don't, I'll just go through it again, that's all. This may kill my shot though, for doing conformation, which Mom wanted to do with me. I hope that it doesn't, because I am a good looking boy and I am very smart. I just have to work on my fear, that's all. Of course, it didn't help that in the very first class, I got bitten on the nose and there was a little bit of blood, but I have gotten better, that's for sure!!

It's my birthday!!

I turned one year old today! I'm so happy. I got a new collar from Mommy and my Auntie is bringing me treats tomorrow! I love being the birthday boy!

Missing my sister

Hi all. I'm sure that you all heard, but my sister, Farrah, passed away a couple of months ago. I miss her badly. I get so lonely without her. I sleep in her spots. I even folded my paw underneath, like she used to do.

I've only known her for about five months, but she was a sweetheart to me, except when she tried to dominate me. *smiles a little*

I want my sister back!! *cries, sniffles*

Mommy is getting another dog, so I won't be so lonely. She was going to get a Collie, but she can't really find any in the area, so now she is considering another Labrador Retriever. That means that there could be a Midsummers Night Dream (female) or a Flash Jr. (male), running around! BOL That would make me feel better, but I will always love and miss Farrah. I never knew Flash, but I am told that he was wonderful as well.

Oh yes I am! BOL I went potty outside FOUR times today, so far! Mommy says that good of me! She really doesn't like picking up the newspapers after I use them. They get her all wet!! BOL But I'm slowly learning!

I LOVE to go outside when it's warmer. So does my sister, Farrah. She loves her walks, but I'm to young yet to go on them. Besides, Mommy couldn't handle walking us both at once. We would end up going separate ways! BOL

My name is Gypsy Road...but my humans call me Gypsy. I'm a purebred American Eskimo..or Eskie for short I'm three months old. I love running around and causing all kinds of problems. BOL I drive my Mommy crazy.

I met my siblings as well. I love them all...Farrah, Sugar and even Keifer! BOL Mommy has to add him onto catster before she forgets.
