Arrival Story:
My husband, Jon, decided to get me a dog for my 30th birthday and he wanted to get it from a shelter. He tried to get me a corgi, but it was too late - she had been adopted. Then we started looking on the internet and I saw my 2 favorite breeds rolled into one: Aussie & Corgi. So I immediately called and emailed the "foster parent" of Clyde at NARF ( and we met a couple days later. It was love at first sight.

Clyde's quote: "Dude, it's all about the herding! I'm half Australian Shephard and half Corgi, so... I will herd you in the hall, I will herd you at the mall, I will herd you on a bike, I will herd you on a trike, I will herd you at night, I will herd you by light, I will herd you on the stairs, I will herd you anywhere!" And Clyde is the only dog we've seen that can actually catch his tail.
