Or, 42, depending on how you slice it. Daddy and Mommy sang to me and gave me a new burger, a hoof, and made me wear a silly hat! It was weird! Of course, they took pictures of me wearing it. Future blackmail, I guess.

It was a fun birthday. It was the first one with my new humans, so it was special. It was around this time last year that my old family was making the difficult decision to give me away. I hope they are doing okay. I'd like them to know that my new family is really nice and is really happy to have me.

Okay, 'nough sappiness. Last night, Mommy had a bunch of friends over. They weren't speaking English! Luckily, I hear Mommy say things in Spanish all the time, even if she's not fluent, so I knew some of what they were saying. Did you know No is No, no matter if it's in English or Spanish? Weird.

I've had flea issues lately. They make me really itchy. My Mommy took me to the vet about it over a month ago, and the vet put me on steroids and oil pills. The steroids are gone (yuck!) and the oil pills are still around. I won't touch my dinner until the oil pill is in the bowl. It's so yummy. Even though I am eating it every day, I am still itchy. My humans have tried all kinds of things to rid me of fleas, including weekly baths, two different kinds of flea medications, vacuuming the house a lot (I HATE that thing!!), and rolling me over on my back to look for the little buggers. Hopefully once the weather cools off the fleas will be goners. Man, I hope so. If I hear my humans say "Oh, you poor thing," one more time!

I'm supposed to go into training sometime soon to deal with my agression issues. Wish me luck! I'll let you know how it goes.

That's how I wake up my humans every morning! I know they love to hear my singing. I try to teach them the songs I knew growing up since they haven't known me my whole life, but they don't seem to have an appreciation for them. Oh well.

So it's been since June since mommy has let me have computer access. She said the screen was bad for my eyes or something. Or that she was tooo busy to hold me up so I could type. Whatever the reason, here I am writing again!

I am terribly itchy these days. My humans are very concerned because they have given me my frontline, several baths, and have worried a lot, yet I have the itches still. I hope it is just summertime getting the best of me and then once fall gets here I will feel good again! I'll cross my furry toes! Every time I scratch, which is often, my humans make sad sounds, like, Awwwww, Hunter, poor guy! Unfortunately, that doesn't make the itching stop, either.

My mommy is taking me to the vet next week. Yuck. It's that time of year for shots and whatnot. I hope the new vet is nice - the one I have had since coming here. Last time she said I was fat! Can you imagaine? My daddy did some research and found out that my weight is just fine. Meat, schmeat - I am not fat. So anyway, I hope the visit next week goes well. I am glad my mommy can be there with me.

I got a new doggie food bowl! My mommy painted it for me. In the center is a picture of me looking back up at myself! The best part about the bowl is that it doesn't slide around when I eat. It just stays put like it should. The other bowls I have gone through just like to take a trip while I am trying to eat.

Mommy took me to her parents house two weeks ago. I got to play with little humans and lots of big humans that I had never met. A few of them wanted to take me home with them because that's how adorable I am!! Mommy said she'd never do that to me though, unless she was with me. I get anxious is all, and no one knows that better than mommy and daddy.

Well, I am going to go follow daddy around the house now. He keeps moving around and I can't stand sitting here typing anymore when there's a mobile object on the loose (my daddy!).

Woof!
Hunter

New HOUSE!!

O-My-Goodness. We-have-a-new-house! It's so cool It's the reason for all the stuff going into the boxes! And my humans didn't forget me! I looooooooooove the new house. It is so big and roomy, and I haven't gotten to know everything yet. There is a big doggie next door, Georgia, that I wasn't very nice to yesterday. Maybe I will cave in and like her. Maybe.

I got to go to get my bath today. Mommy takes me and drops me off. I am getting used to going. When I am there, they give me a big bath and make me smell good. They also give me a cool bandana around my neck. Mine now is lime green with yellow and blue leopard print on it. It makes me look very fashionable. Mommy took me to her work, where I got to see some fun people who treated me like royalty! Then Mommy brought me home and she and daddy made some yummy smelling food called pizza.

My new house is, like I said, huge, and I love sitting under all the ceiling fans. I see lots of squirrels when I look out the windows and when we're outside I chase them. There are cats, too, which my humans aren't sure that I have seen before, since I am a rescue doggie. I don't mind them too much. I saw one at the groomers today that wasn't very nice to me, but I didn't make it mind me. I just was curious. I am a curious doggie and I stick my nose where it doesn't belong - a lot!

Well, I gotta go roll around on some carpeting now! We didn't have that before!!
