To play fetch! To be with his family!
To be bothered when he is lying down, resting. To potty in the rain.
Mr Crabby and any ball but especially squeaky ones!
Hotdogs, cheese, liver BowWownies! (used for training)
To Nanny and Pappy's house!
High five, shake hands, sit, stand, stay, come, down, heel, spin, twist, paws, walk backwards etc, he can even press the Staples "easy" button...he's really smart!
I seen him in a pet shop and
I had been looking for a mini for so long that I couldn't leave there without him. He looked so sweet and helpless. Unfortunately, he wasn't very healthy when I brought him home. I would not recommend buying a pet shop dog to anyone. Beamer has turned out to be a great friend, especially when my husband was deployed to Iraq three months after Beamer came home to live with us. I don't know what I would've done without Beamer's faithful support. I love my dog!!
Beamer's AKC registered name is Jennifer's Midnite Moonbeam CD RE. We are working hard at formal obedience training and hope to earn a CDX (Companion Dog Excellent) title in the future! Beamer has already earned his CD (Companion Dog) title, his RN (Rally Novice) title, RA (Rally Advanced) title, RE (Rally Excellent) title and his CGC (Canine Good Citizen) !!
I love my Mom!

We went to the trial on July 18 and 19., 2008. I had been to this place before so I felt pretty comfortable. I had two good runs. On Friday I scored a 99 and got fourth place........there were three scores of 100, wow, the competition was tough! On Saturday I scored a 98 and earned the third "leg" for my title! Woohoo! I even got some pretty ribbons to take home and two new toys too! We did some shopping at the show, Mom bought me a really cool 6ft light blue leather leash, it matches my collar. She bought a shirt and a keychain for herself with schnauzer stuff on it.......she loves schnauzer stuff! All in all it was a great day! So, what's next you ask? .....do we go for the RAE? Maybe try agility? Switch over and compete in UKC obedience? Choices, choices. Of course we are still working on the open and utility exercises, but they aren't easy so it might be awhile before we are ready for that. No matter what we do it will be fun! I love spending time bonding with Mom, she says I am the best schnauzer ever! Thanks for reading and keeping up with my progress and thanks for all the encouragement I get from my pals! It means a lot!

I earned my Rally Advanced title on June 14, 2008! I only needed on more "leg" for the title. I placed second with a score of 99 out of a possible 100. Mom was so proud of me! She had entered us in both days of the two day trial just in case something happened and we didn't qualify on the first day then we would have the second day to give it a try. Since I did Q on the first day Mom asked the trial secretary if we could do a "move up" to the next class and compete there on Sunday. The secretary agreed and filed the paperwork. On Sunday I earned one leg toward my Rally Excellent title! Woohoo!! I had a score of 97 out of 100 and I tied for 3rd place but got fourth place because of time. Time is the tie breaker in case of a score tie. I lost 3rd by three tenths of a second. Anyway, Mom was thrilled!! She really had not expected to run in excellent so we had not practiced for that much at all, even though I have been trained in all the exercises. The judge even complemented us on our run, which they rarely do. We lost the three points on the "Back up three steps, dog stays in position". I crabbed my butt out on the first try so we tried it again, which is an automatic 3pt deduction for retry of a station. the second time I did it perfectly! The judge told Mom that if I would've done it that well the first time through I would've got a score of 100! Either way Mom was pleased....she got to take home the most awesome dog there...ME!! We are entered in a two day trail on July 18 and 19th , we hope to finish my Excellent title then. Keep your paws crossed for me!! Peace out........Beamer

Over the weekend Mom and I went over tho the trial in Delmont,Pa to compete in Rally Advanced B. I did great on Saturday. I had a really nice run. We only lost 3 points and that was because Mom did a "retry" of a station. It was on sign#36 Halt/Stand/Walk Around Dog. I moved my back feet just a little bit so Mom wanted to try it again and the second time I did it perfect but we lost the 3 pts because we tried it again. Still I earned a 97 out of a 100 so Mom was really happy! I enjoy rally! It is a lot of fun to go through the course and do different things at each sign. Then on Tuesday we traveled to Kimberton, Pa to the Montgomery All Terrier Obedience trial. It was so cool to see so many terriers at one show! You usually don't see many terriers when you go to a typical trial so this was pretty special. I competed on the Novice B ring this time. I did really well. I ended up with a score of 191.5 out of a possible 200!! Mom was pleased! The competition was tough! That score gave me a fourth Q (qualifying score) or "leg" as "show people" call it. I didn't need the extra leg but Mom just wanted to go to the specialty and check it out so we entered. I did get a Q in Rally AdvB too. That gives me my second leg toward my RA title......only one more to go before I earn the title! It's been a fun week! Oh and I loved staying at a hotel with lots of other people and their dogs! I'll keep you posted on my progress, stay tuned......
