Arrival Story:
My sister Molly and I were left at a vet boarding clinic and our old owners never came back for us. I liked everyone at the clinic, but they wanted us to have a forever home and through something called the internet we found our new mommy and daddy in October, 2005

Bio:
I love to jump and jump really high, straight up! Mom and dad are having to learn to keep things pretty high to keep it out of my reach. Also I love laps. If I see a lap, I really want to flop! Mom also says I'm mischievous, I don't know what that means, but I think it means that I like to chew things, like papers, shoes, etc.

Chester's Words of Wisdom

I've Learned a New Word

Bed. That's my new word. When mommy or daddy say bed they want me to go to my bed which is located in front of their fireplace in our bedroom. So that's where I go and mommy thinks it is really cute, and daddy thinks I'm really smart. They didn't realized how good I've learned that word until last night though. We were all watching TV in the TV room and daddy said it was time to go to bed. So I went from the TV room down the hallway to our bedroom and climbed into my bed. Well when we got there, daddy kept trying to get me up on their bed. I don't quite understand that, because he clearly said we were going to bed and that's where I was, so that's where I stayed. I settled down and curled up so I could go to sleep.

Mommy said she and daddy needed to learn some new words too... I know some good ones, so I'll try and help out.

Ruff Weekend

We were invaded this weekend...by little people that don't move properly!

Mommy said her 2 and 3 year old nephews were coming to town. When she first told us this, I thought all would be OK, I mean I'm a pretty easy going likeable kind of guy. But then they arrived. They were loud, and ran around really fast, and moved kinda strangely, and did I mention loud. They were louder then all of us dogs put together and we can raise the roof I tell you. Well I decided right off I wanted nothing to do with them and made my opinion known by sitting in mommy's lap the whole weekend. If either of these nephew creatures came up to me, I growled at them until mommy made them go away.

Mommy said I was being highly unsociable, but she just didn't see the danger I saw an protected us from. I've been pretty beat since then, and just been sleeping mostly.

Oh Boy! I get to get on the Big Bed!

Well daddy won! Mommy and daddy got a great big bed about a month ago and mommy said no doggies on the big bed. She said it was a king size bed, but three doggies and two people would not fit on the bed. So daddy has been working on mommy for a few weeks now to let all of us dogs onto the big bed at the same time. I don't know what mommy is worried about, we aren't all that big. Between us three dogs we weigh in at less than 20 pounds. Well daddy finally won, and we now all get to sit on the bed with mommy and daddy to watch TV! It is a really comfy bed for napping!
