Getting old is a B*%$&!

From Sheldon:

Mom and Dad are so very sad. The Vet had to come to our house Wednesday evening and put me down. "I'm on my way Bubba, please meet me at the bridge, I miss you so much!" I'm looking down on Mom and Dad and they are crying, they are so lonely without me and Bubba Boy. I hope they know that I am healthy and happy again.

Well, I'm on my way to the Rainbow Bridge. Mom and Dad thought for sure that Sheldon Sue would be the one to go first - she's been sick for a long time. But you see, Sheldon is not as brave as me, I've always had to go first - and that is why I'm on my way to the Rainbow Bridge - she will follow me when it is her time. But I've got to check it out first. Mom and Dad are crying their hearts out over me - the day before I left them Mom sang my favorite song to me (The Star Spangled Banner) we used to sing it together before every NASCAR race, I'm going to miss them so much. Once I get to the Rainbow Bridge I'll be ok - I'll run around again, just like I used to - I'll meet Angel Max and see Annie and Dakota again. And, one day my Sheldon-Sue will be with me.

Made it another week!

Well, I made it through another week. Mom and Dad were so scared last week, they thought for sure it was my time to be put down. I don't wanna' go yet so I surprised them and I think I've bought myself some more time here.

I want to thank Sophie Marie and Max, who are my two friends at the Rainbow Bridge for giving me all the support and love. It has helped to make me stronger. I heard Mom say that my time will be when I am no longer happy to see her and Dad - so every time I see them I wag my tail and smile. Mom makes over me and tells me what a good girl I am, then Dad does the same thing.

We still haven't gotten the results back from the doc yet. When we do I will post them.
