Arrival Story:
I was adopted to fill a void in mommy's heart when her first cocker spaniel died. She said she would only get another dog if she found a black cocker spaniel and there I was. I had been adopted and returned the same day but no one knows why. I guess it was meant to be.

Bio:
I have a little brother by adoption, and two brothers who passed away before me. LACEY STARTED HER JOURNEY TO THE RAINBOW BRIDGE ON 7/29/07. SHE WILL BE MISSED SO MUCH!

Lacey was my 16-17 year old cocker spaniel. She has had lots of ailments over the years. She was double-blind (glaucoma in both eyes), going deaf, had bad teeth, horribly arthritic legs, tumors all over, incontinent, and had trouble breathing. I loved her with all my heart and I hope I took good care of her.

Lacey's ashes came home today. It's at least a relief to know she's back here with me and we will never be totally apart again. I miss that little girl more than anything! xoxo

Lacey's journey to the rainbow bridge started tonight. She was in a lot of pain this weekend and I knew it was her time. That doesn't make it any easier, but it seems as if she went peacefully. She's with her brothers who passed before her and I hope she's happy and pain free. I hope she knew just how much I loved her. I did what I could to help make the end easier for her.

Not feeling well

I have another large lump but this one is on my back. Mommy said that it seems to be a "fatty tissue" this time and not another tumor. I hope she's right. I've been coughing a lot lately, too, and it's getting harder to walk. It hurts. Mommy said she is going to take me back to the doctor, but she's afraid of what will happen because I'm over 16 years old. I hope I feel better soon.
