It's my birthday

It's July 22nd and I am 6 years old today. Mommy and grandma said that makes them sad because they wish I wouldn't get older and that I could stay their baby forever. I hope mommy gets me some good nummies for my big day!

A new friend?

Mommy says that I am getting a new friend that we are adopting on Saturday. Knowing her, he will have his own page soon. His name is Alan and he's an 8 year old cocker spaniel rescue. I hope he likes to play.

Weird week

Mommy is very sad because Lacey passed away two days ago. This was supposed to be a happy week because my movie, FIREHOUSE DOG, came out on DVD today. I'm supposed to be featured in the closing credits, but we haven't seen it yet to know for sure. Mommy has been making pages for my brothers (and one cousin) who passed before Lacey and she said it helps to see them all in one place. Next Monday there is a candlelight vigil online and they will mention Lacey and light a candle for her. Mommy said her ashes come home on Wednesday.

Mommy is looking for a new companion for me. I'm not sure how I feel about that, but I hear that she has great taste in dogs (ha ha) so I trust that she won't bring anyone home that I don't like.

A new friend?

Mommy said that Rocco the Beagle is coming over to spend the night on Monday. I've never had another dog sleep over before so I don't know what will happen. I hope we get along and he doesn't bother Lacey. Guess we'll see how it goes.

Lacey has been feeling much better, and that makes me happy, too.

Hi everyone

Today was weird, because Grandma was away on vacation and she came home today. But they were only home a few minutes when they took my sister in the car and left. When they came back, mommy said Lacey is sick. I hope she's going to be ok. I love my family and I like it when my girls (mommy, Grandma, and Lacey) are all together.

Bye mommy

Mommy is going away this weekend on a cruise and leaving my sister and me with our grandma. That means I will have free reign of the house at night because grandma lets me sleep wherever I want. We should have a fun weekend because I love my grandma.

Mommy also said that she entered me in another beautiful pet contest. She said if I win I get free food for a year. That sounds good to me.

Mommy said she entered my picture in another contest. She hopes I win. This weekend we are spending a lot of time together because it's a 3 day weekend. I love that. She scratches my back a lot for me. It's so itchy! I will let everyone know if I win the contest. She already calls me "her little movie star," so I can't imagine what name she'd come up with if I win a postage-picture contest!
